I just realized that there are only Mirelurk Kings existing in the any lairs of Mirelurk bases.

since King is male and thus cannot lay the eggs, then who laid the mirelurk eggs??

The regular Mirelurks?

Also Mirelurks aren't really Fallout universe in general since they're from Fallout 3.

:facepalm: Bethesda owns it now, so Mirelurks are part of the Fallout Universe, no matter how much you may dislike it.

True that. Bethesda owns the Fallout Universe lock stock and barrel. So anything they choose to add to it becomes canon, outrage from the canonistas notwithstanding..
