Wait until you hear Jeremy Soule's work For Real.....

Guess what.

I found the Skyrim soundtrack in the mailbox today!!!!! They are shipping!!!!!

Wait until you hear the CD quality soundtracks without compression, atmospherics, or battle noise...... Awesome. The Dragonborn theme on a proper sound system can rattle the rafters; and there is a lot more choral work in many tracks that hasn't been heard. Hammered dulcimer, pennywhistle, orchestrals.......

It comes in a cardboard CD case with wraparound art of Alduin's Wall on it. The signature is on the inside in gold ink, and the case double folds over the CD's. Inside the first fold is the track names and signature, inside the second is the disks.

I'm still on disc one, and wow.......

Even though the game is plagued with issues, the music is superb.

You can go through the trouble of extracting the files with a .bsa unpacker, then converting it from .xwm into .wav or something, but you'll get a crappy compressed 192kb/s version. Can't wait to get the studio-quality soundtrack though.

And that is total Bull [censored]... I already payed for the music when i purchased the game, that is part of the development cost and licensing... why would I pay for it again.

What format then? .bsa? I heard they did alot of those to compress it better.
If I could just get my ahnds on it, I could hopefully convert it to MP3, but I can't even find it. Stupid Steam installation folder.

Can't wait...hopefully get mine soon aswell then! :D :D

I have to say , as good as the game is,imo the music is just first class. Better than the game.

I'm Hungry for a modern looking TES game.

I love skyrim ,but i must be honest i thought the PC version was going to look even better with much higher res textures..

What country do you live in OP? i'm from UK ...just wondering when my copy will be here. Ordered it just over a week ago i think! :)

Is it possible to mod the game and add uncompressed soundtrack into it?
