I remember kicking chickens on Fable you could wind achievements doing that but according to Todd that could be used against you.
“The story manager is looking at everything you do and then making things happen. So if you set a chicken on fire, or you drop an item, or pickpocket somebody or if you Kill a dragon in town and absorb its soul, how people react all goes through the story manager”
My experience with Bethesda games AI is good but i wonder if this kind of "control" will make a better game or not?
This could open a lot of in game possibilities i usually try to follow the line in a game but this time i will try new things may be i set a chicken on fire just see what happens. What will you do?
I personally live on a ranch, and we raise chickens. If someone were to come up and begin setting them aflame, or even just start punting them... I wouldn't take too kindly to it.
I can't think of anybody who would honestly be okay with the idea of someone kicking their livestock around.
Guards (and villagers) reacting to such actions is quite realistic. However, if you're only presented with a gold fine to pay, that borders on unrealistic, in my opinion.
It wasn't too long ago that theft of livestock (usually cattle) was punished with a noose. I'd expect to see citizens defending their livestock quite aggresively, considering it's likely one of their few means of survival in the harsh lands of Skyrim.
Back on topic, being that I tend to play "good" characters, I doubt I'll be roasting any chickens in Skyrim.
My thoughts.
