Wait,what ? ( dragon riding )

Post » Mon Oct 20, 2014 4:38 pm

When I heard about dragon riding abilities in DB DLC I was very excited. However after obtaining the ability It seems that I cant fly him unless I just want to fast travel. Umm why ? no one is going to wait to fast travel until they find a dragon and on top of that I figured ,"hey at least I can FT while on a dragon and enjoy the view, nope its just like doing it from the ground. So I gotta ask, what is the use of this skill because as it is now for me , its kind of useless.

Thoughts? oh and I am on PS3 so mods are not possible. There are a lot of things in this game that are just plain worthless IE summon familiar.

Yeah, I was bummed when I tried it out, too. :( If I was on PC, I'd be sure to find a mod to let me control the dragon. But alas, a lowly peasant such as myself must wallow in the filth of Xbox LIVE. :(

Dragon Riding is for Combat and it would be more useful to just fight on the ground. Not sure where you got the idea of dragon riding being made for fast travel...

Maybe because that's a feasable thing to think while on the back of a dragon? It's kinda the point of massive winged beasts. They can go anywhere. Would you really not think "hmm, this has wings, it can take me places, and the view would be nice"?

They are only worthless if you don't know how and when to use them.

summon familiar will always distract the attacker even if its just for a second. It could give you the time to reposition, duck behind a tree or even run away.

Because you can fast travel without a dragon and actually be able to directly control what you are doing when you get there

I think you're missing the point.

It's not about practicality, it's about the experience of riding a dragon.

the whole Dragonriding thing was pure fanservice.. at launch everyone complained that it didn't exist..

seriously the whole concept of "Im gonna tame and ride a dragon" sounds really cheesy to me

I agree and given the nature of the Dovah it is pure insult to them to be rode like some lowly steed
