Waiting on release, what occupies your gaming time?

Post » Sat Mar 22, 2014 10:01 am

Ok, this isn't exactly on topic, but I know a lot of you may be anxiously awaiting the release as much as I.

I get bored very easily with games, so I've tried all of the following to keep me occupied:

DAOC, DayZ, Morrowind, Skyrim (just added more mods and cheated some), Stronghold HD.

None of these seems to help the time pass...

What are you doing with your gaming time?

All other games have lost their flavor with me right now haha. So, I pass time by reading, and commenting on the boards here :P

I'm too impatient for ESO to start another TES play through. Every time I load up a TES game I just meh snd close it.

I'm playing some LoL, will pick up dark souls 2, and reinstalled TOR to play through some stories I liked but never finished.

Nice, me too!

Revolution, Vikings, The Originals, Almost Human, Black Sails, The Walking Dead, True Blood, Continuum, All of the Alaska reality shows, The Big Bang Theory (dont read the crap at the end)... in no particular order, and there are more that are out of season.

I need to check out Supernatural and Helix.

Skyrim mostly, I just installed about fifty billion new mods; so it's a completely different experience. I'm also doing a second playthrough of AC4, my first playthrough of The Witcher 2, and a bit of Rift. Although after playing the ESO beta I've lost my taste for MMOs. =( Oh, and I'm stilling playing multiplayer Mount and Blade: Warband, that game has the best combat ever!

The original Deus Ex complete with it's easily confused AI and bloodcurdling death screams that continue to play even after the hapless victim has burst into chunks.

I have been working on my new guild website. I first started this guild as a clan for CoD back in 2005, and so far I have a few of my old member joining me for this.

I think Elwood Bules said it best... "We're putting the band back together".

Supernatural is of course made by the CW so it has some drama but all in all its a fun show with good serious episodes and some good humor episodes. Helix on the other hand is all serious but its one of those "what the hell is actually going on" shows. It is decent though. Another awesome sci fi show is Falling Skies, i have watched that one way too much though now. Doctor Who is a good long show that's decent too, it has a lot of seasons that's good for killing time. Same with supernatural, i think i killed a week or so on that one.

I will have to check out revolution, every time i get close something keeps me from taking a look.

I watch Falling Skies and Doctor Who too.... seems my list is getting bigger and bigger, and before long I wont have any time for games! Another good "marathon" show, if you like a little geeky comedy mixed in with adventure/drama is Eureka. Once I started watching that, I couldn't stop. I basically finished all 5 seasons without watching any of my others.
