Play something else? is it really that hard to comprehend if your fed up or do not care about what goes on behind the scenes in a game studio were they have to deal with fixing those said problems everyday and have to put together a working patch that irons out the right things so you can enjoy the game .But you simply don't care really? , then why the hell should they give two **** about your problem when you can not be patience enough to chill out and if you leave is that really a issue? no one cares if one or two people leave or what ever many people jump ship because there will be more to fellow to check this game out on a daily bases and have many people are on this earth? billions right then your nothing bet a bug in large room ,so make it quick so the real fan base for this game can emerge when a official patch is announced.

I understand your point of view. It makes sense. It's just sad that a multi-million dollar company can't take five minutes to let their hundreds of thousands of gamers know that they are actually doing something. I like the MP and I plan to hold out for a patch.. I just find it incredibly sad that Crytek can't show more consideration for their community than...... any other company I've ever seen.

I believe there will be a patch in the next 10 days or so. But I also believed there would be a patch in the last 10 days... I mean really, if the company was on vacation and not doing anything their response would be the same, nothing. Ah well, here's to hope....

Well i am on the fence, if you see ive been here and patient now for almost a month waiting on patches, so im trying to stay optimistic but its getting harder to do each day.

P.S. The threads saying to trade it in at GS must not care about losing $45, if they got it new for $60+ tax.

We may have proof that the 2 site admins have lost the will to go on. They locked other threads that reported issues, even though they were mostly mature with both pictures and videos as evidence. The reason they were locked was because every time they were posted in they pushed other threads away from the 1st page. The threads were ones that i assume were helpful to the developers.
How has this thread not been locked for the same reasons? there are other threads similar to this one and they only seem to bury the few helpful threads that are around deep into the forum never to be found. the game is not the issue. but the game has issues, for many customers. usually a company tries hard to fix problems with their products and try to maintain a good communication with their customers. sadly, crytek is leaving many of us alone with our one big issue and it is perfectly normal to complain about behaviour like this. in any other, more established biz, you could file complaints with a federal consumer protection agency because it is your right as a customer to get what you paid for.
online gaming lacks standards and is propably too multi-national to achieve this sort of legal protection, for now.
i'd expect gaming magazines to be more critical and follow games' issues, instead of sticking with reviews and previews. some real journalism so to say.

and i'd expect that fellow gamers stop complaining about me or anyone else having issues. WTF is wrong with you? noone tries to ruin your fun, all this criticism is about getting a chance to have fun like you.

To be honest I didnt intend to insult or offend anyone with issues, It was more against the people who make a new threadabout the same issue every 10 minutes and clutter the forum and thus hide the actually useful information away.

I also intended to give people a bit of an insight into how complex modern games are and Crysis 2 being the most complex game out there at the moment has issues.

I also tried to explain that Adam is probably under an NDA otherwise why am I able to bring you more information from 1 day of playing with a Dev than he is when he is supposedly in direct contact with the Dev team?

The game is not as super buggy like games like fallout 3 or some other games that have come out that are horrible and if your having issues with the game and nothings being done about it with a patch in 2 months are more then i think complaining is a given. but no, i don't intend to. i haven't played in a week, true. but tried it again today. after 5 mins i had to quit because once again i had lag/hitbox issues like i haven't experienced ever befor on console (i'm new to console gaming, got my first one only 2,3 years ago). then checked the forums to see if there's news on a patch but all i found were people complaining about other people having problems with the game.

I would firstly like to say i'm not picking a fight here but how can you compare fallout 3 it has no online in it? I would gladly jump ship as this game has not been enjoyable for me from day one well not entirely true the SP was vastly impressive for a FPS. But the MP was a real let down for me anyway. Connection issues, spending 45 minutes trying to join a game only to have connection issues, bad host migration which mostly results in getting kicked and spending another 45 minutes joining another game. I was deeply let down by this game and will never listen to hype about games ever again. Also will not be buying games without dedicated servers anymore as P2P gaming is not my idea of fun.

Anyhow life goes on back to BFBC2 until the GOW3 Beta

That shows you didnt read the original post correctly, I complained about the people who make endless threads about the same problems instead of collectively replying on the same thread and being contructive so it gets noticed by the moderators like for example the issue with the film grain.

Go to a gamestop and ask them about crysis2.... Nothing but terrible reviews and comments about "who knows when they'll fix their game."

Seriously? Obviously my comment is a generalization of what's going on with this game. I have no statistics. It's simply common knowledge. If issues aren't fixed and addressed people will not continue to play the game. The game is completely unplayable for some, and only half playable for some others. All of these people will leave the game if the issues aren't addressed. Most people understand that patches take time... but no one should understand why a company this mainstream can't take five minutes to address their fans.

So this then leaves the thought of ok, if they can't talk to us now, why would they talk to us later? If it takes them a month or more to fix game breaking issues, how long or if ever will it take for them to balance and polish the rest of the MP? I have absolutely no faith in this game ever being anything more than what it is right now, except for a few less bugs and better connections.

Because of this companies incompetent PR team, MOST people will be left with this feeling of neglect from the company. With no faith in the game becoming anything more than what it is now. Once the "new" factor wears off people will proceed to the next game.

Developers only keep gamers around by making changes to the game that keeps the MP interesting, balanced and fun. This company can't even take five minutes to tell us if they even care that the game is half-broken for some people. Why would they even bother polishing the game later on?
