They key will be to make the night time so dark that we actually require night eye or torch to move around

This thread reminds me of Ocarina of Time, when you went out into Hyrule Field at night the undead would come out of the ground and attack you haha

Who would think it would be interesting to you know explore Skyrim and suddenly around 10:00 to 2:00 You run into random Packs of undead near Grave sites or Caves but i mean like in a small horde ?

Yes. Undead has always been my favorite enemy in every RPG I play. Skeletons got me hooked on RPG's. In the future, please attempt a more coherent sentence structure, and better grammar. It will make this forum more enjoyable for all!

if you watch/read the interviews, they talk about how the enemies having more habitat and lyfstyle-esque actions add to the world and emersion, so this would actually be a great idea (if they haven't had it already). Directed at one of the other comments, it would be cool to see things like dens, nest, groves, or hollows for some of the wildlife enemies or nomadic campsites or clearings in the bush for enemy groups too. On that note not everything will attack you either the giants and mammoths on the plains for example and by doing this with the enemies/wildlife and humaniods they are hoping to add more "life" to the game that is both aestheticlally and gameplay coherent, and I think it will work!

Would there be a quest to find a wooden statue from them?

Sure, why not. Might make people think twice about going out at night.

Yes, and a man wearing a sheet running the streets of a major city shouting, "Vengeance", would be the ultimate reference.

Skeleton warriors bursting from the graveyard earth beneath the moonlight, please.

Hey what About Like Previous battlefields ? because it says the Nords and Falmer elves Killed each other. If you unexpectedly walked onto a Old war site and the Dead just start climbing out of the ground. . . that would kind of make any person look for higher ground before you get swarmed :obliviongate:

Yes. I always wondered why nothing happened at any gravesites in Oblivion (except the Draconis woman's) and why I never saw any zombies/ghosts/wraiths in the open gaurding their dungeons with the skeletons and liches. :poke: And other than hearing that there were vampires in Skingrad at night (which I never saw for myself), they were only in their dungeons. I want more active undead!

Yeah i agree it would seem more real you know at night if a vampire hunting party is looking for prey , or undead wonder valleys and Graveyards where its dark but not just in the dungeons but like you say more active but also i agree with some of the other guys that reply that you should encounter the enemies that fit the area and time.

I want this game to scare me [censored]less honestly, i would not mind some "Winter is coming," moments.

Here's hoping for a mature story; not just romance simulator 2.0 and generic evil bad guys 3.0.

For scare factor I propose a recurring nightly fright in the form of screams, crying, and groans (occasional howl would be nice too). After say 3 nights of this chill fest we get into a night long chase and fight with any number of zombies, skeletons, ghosts, etc. In said fight these undead won't be swarming constantly, more like guerilla warfare style attacks.

And what About a quest involving helping a Village or town defend itself on a 3 night Undead Horde that only appears at night Like you say Zombies, skeletons and such ? . I completely Agree with guerrilla warfare and to add more dept how bout a airy fog that appears when they walk at night .
