I wholly agree. Make one like Jobasha's Rare Books, where you can find all manner of great stuff if you look hard.

Not quite sure what the premise of this thread is, but may I be the first to say that:

Jobasha's Rare Books in Morrowind has to be the one of the coziest stores in the entire Elder Scrolls series!

Seriously, I adored that place. Warm lighting, Chuck the Plant, various knicknacks. It really made the place feel like a den of antiquity. I hope the shops aren't as copy-paste as Oblivion's were.

I agree, although you can read most of the books free at the stores.

Nothing less than a look through Hermaeus Mora's library will do. The more books the better.

With 200 years that have passed I'm sure (and hope) that there will be much more source material to read along with additional lore that has occured since Oblivion. 200 years is enough to have plenty of lore, new adventurer stories, et cetera to read with a much more expanded collection of books to read.

Be funny to find a book telling of the events of the main story in Oblivion. Sure, most people would find it boring, but I think it'd be kick-ass. But yea, I hated going into a book store, going to read a book, and having a magical guard appear behind me yelling "CRIMINAL SCUM!" I hope the NPC's act more like the Fallout NPC's do.
Oblivion: "Hey, i'm gonna clean the bar up, that ok?" *Begins moving items around cleaning up a bit* "STOP THIEF!"
Fallout: "Hey, i'm gonna clean the bar up, that ok?" *Begins moving items around cleaning up a bit* "Thanks buddy."

They don't actually thank you, but still. At least I didn't have 500 people chasing me because I picked up a spoon that fell off the table and put it back.
