ok so i pre orderd from walmart and every time i check my order it keeps telling me it will arrive on the 17th. i emailed and they basically said the same thing, so today i called their 1 800 number and talked to somebody. what they told me was that they have an email detailing how the game is set to be released on the 10th and that they have plenty of copies to fill these orders,

but she looked at my order and it still says the same thing and she cant change that, so basically i started to complain and b**** sayin that it was not fair and i should be compensated for having to wait and they took $5 off my order i know its not much but hey its money, still dont know if i will get the game on the 10th or not she said according to my order its not even set to ship till the 13th but oh well we will wait and see, just thought if anyone else was having this prob they could save themselves some money. good luck hope it comes on the 10th!

the e-mail i got said it would be delivered on the 10th, other people have said their orders said a different date too, maybe it depends on your location

maybe im out in Indiana so who knows.

They're telling me I'll get it on the 10th as well. Considering that the stores got the games a few days ago already, if I don't see a package in my PO box next Tuesday I will be extremely infuriated. Enraged, even.

But anyway, from all that I've heard, Wal*Mart's answer to any sort of complaint is to throw money at it. And you should get the game on the 10th. 17th was the original (after two pushbacks) release date, but there's no reason for them to wait that long to give you your game, aside from them being morons and not correcting a clerical error.

Couple of threads regarding walmart problems, the xbox delivery date is correct it is the PS3 version we are having problems with, walmart never updated their system to reflect the pre-order date and as such even though they have a pre-order promise the system still gave a delivery window and not the pre-order date. So anybody's guess as to if they will in fact have the pre-orders for the PS3 out on time, what I have taken away from all this with my week long fight in emails and on the phone with walmart, is that i will never buy from walmart.com again, they have no clue about the products and are always apologetic that they can never do anything except offer 10% for your troubles, thanks for calling, I hope I have met your expectations.

They have no idea how loaded a statement that last line is when they end the call with me.

man i hope your right! i keep thinking thats the case it just bothers me that they wont fix it on their site or my order!
