hey guys i just pre ordered brink for xbox and ps3 at walmart online as i was preordering i noticed that for the xbox it said tues may 10 and for ps3 it said tues may 17 thru thursday may 19

why did it say that also i would really appreciate it if someone really explained that to me

We have no clue but it may have to do with anything from printing error, printing prior to release date change, speculation on someones part or any other huge list of reasons. I'm sure none of our members here know, I sure have no clue.

i still cant see why someone would buy a game for two consoles

because i have a brother and he wants a version for the xbox and i have a ps3 so i wanted one to sooo yea.....

I've heard you can claim all four packs, then just sell the copies to friends.

I have contacted Walmart about it and just recieved an email back stating:

"Thank you for contacting Walmart.com regarding delivery of Brink.

We are writing to let you know that we received your request for information on the Brink w/ Exclusive The Spec Ops Pack w/ Bonus $10 Walmart.com eGift Card (PS3).

This item has a preorder promise which means it will arrive by the release date. At this time, our records have the release date as May 16th.

Walmart.com Customer Service does not have knowledge of release dates other than the street dates listed on the site.

If we have not fully answered your question or you have additional questions, please reply to this email.

Walmart.com Customer Care"

In which I replied this:

"Well I can send you links to your competitions websites where they have stayed up to date on the information regarding the product in discussion as well as the games actual website to show that the game is in fact being released on May 10th now. I would really like to purchase this product from you guys but if I cannot get my copy upon release date then I will have to take my business to one of your competitors.

Maybe the ps3 has so many pre-orders that they wont have enough available that week.
