Lets just get an idea of what people want. I wouldn't mind riding dragons though :D

I like the way dialog is done in Fallout. It's similar to the way it's done in games like Baldur's Gate and Planescape, and allows for some very gripping storytelling, if written correctly.

I would be able to accept Oblivion styled fast travel... maybe co-op as well.

As for guns I think a repeating dwemer crossbow would be kinda neat.

Riding a dragon...the last time I rode a dragon my butt was sore for weeks, so I'll pass.

MMO - Go to hell

I only voted for Co-op. And like I said before, in a way, if they add co-op, I hope its DLC. I hope they just make the engine capable of it, then release the game with single player only, few months, come out with DLC for co-op. That way all the people that say "I dont want co-op because it will take away from the game itself" wont have a problem with it (or shouldnt), and the people who want co-op, like me, will have something more to look forward to. And Bethesda makes more money by selling a $10-20 DLC lol.

I voted Fallout-like dialogue just cause it's better than Oblivion's or Morrowind's. Skyrim needs its own dialogue system though.

I don't think these are the "most popular 'wants'" at all - more like some of the most outrageous/controversial.

[Edit] Haven't voted, because I think it's silly.

I dont think that MMO and guns are very widely "wanted" around here.

Remind me of the difference between Fallout dialogue and Oblivion dialogue? (Not sarcastic, only played through FO3 once a bit over a year or so, so it's not fresh in my mind)

I wouldn't be averse to local co-op. I think Fable 2 did it fairly well, although I think the second player could have their character tied to the account they sign in with (console) or selected save character (PC). Shoot me down if you like, but I really don't think local co-op would be too bad.

Nowt else from the list though.

I want none of those. In fact, I would be actively against all of them except Fallout style dialog (I wouldn't care either way).

I am electing you my Guru.

First, because of the excellent gun-quest you created (btw you should email that to someone in the dev team); second, because I do not know Fallout (my bro speaks awesome of it), I was voting NONE, but the moment you mentioned dialog was like Baldur's Gate (THE PC Game) and Planescape Torment then I had to change my vote to Fallout.

These two games are something outside the curve of normality of the pc-rpg world.

# MMO - NO!
# guns (m16-Ak47) lol - NO!
# riding dragons - NO!
# guns (dwemer style blunderbuss) - Maybe, as long as they're rare and don't make swords/bows redundant.
# co-op - NO!
# fallout like dialog - Well it was much better than Oblivion's, so sure, why not?
# oblivion fast travel - Yes, but also Morrowind-style fast-travel, simply for immersion and to have the option.

None of these. Except maybe riding dragons. I'd prefer if that's left to the modders however.

It would be stupid to make the dragons tame rather than godlike superbeasts. This is tes not "The Never Ending Story"

I want the MMO, but as a title of its own, not part of the core Elder Scrolls series and developed by its own team with the TES developers serving only as consultants for stuff that can't be figured out from playing the existing games.

I want to ride a dragon, but only in as much that the dragon takes me where it doesnt mind going, and that it is more of a companion than just a mount.

I wouldnt mind seeing experimental firearms discovered in some Dwemer ruin with limited rounds which can one-shot average enemies. Once the rounds are all used, that's it.

I sort of liked Fallout's dialogue system.

I also want Oblivion's fast-travel, but with ALL destinations disabled at the start.

Fast Travel and Fallout-esque dialogue.

Most of the time I just walk everywhere, because I really enjoy exploring and dungeoncrawling. But when I've got quests that are sending me from one end of a continent to another, multiple times, I just want to beam there thanks.

The dialogue in FO3/NV was pretty well done, beats Oblivions anyway. If they bring back the persuasion mini-game I'll be singularly unimpressed.
