Mc Chris references aside, and as stupid as it sounds, I hope there's candy to be found in New Vegas. Complex carbohydrates and sugars can come in real handy when in a survival situation (not that I know firsthand, just being logical) and were a welcome find in the D.C. area. Actually I've raised a question that I hope someone can answer: I don't know if twinkies have been rumored to have the ability to last forever or even to survive a nuclear war since their invention, but they've apparently been around since the 30's. Anyone know? Kind of a wierd question really...
Perhaps that was part of the 50's vision of the future, junk food that can survive nuclear war. Either way, finding the cliche junk food items in Fallout 3 gave me that nostalgic feeling that Fallout games do. T.V. dinners and strange meat, mmm mmm.
I don't think there was candy in any previous Fallout games though, just cheesy poofs I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
I'm expecting responses to include frequent use of the words stupid and pointless.
