I want to do crafting but not break my game

I'm thinking of leveling them organically not powerleveling them by doing a low level item like a dagger over and over again. Why is that allowed? In many games you get zero experience on a low level item after a certain number you make. You then have to level a higher, more complicated item

Also I dont plan to use potions or wear pieces of armor, jewelery, or clothing with buffs for crafting

Even without "grinding", if one could even call it that, just leveling smithing at all breaks the game imo.

Just don't gather a mountain of stuff and then grind the craft all at once. Take your time, use the skins and ore you gather, make a little window of time every 5 levels or so to craft with what you've gathered in that time, and it feels natural.

Because grinding like in MMO is no fun at all?

I've just been gathering stuff in dungeons as I go and then crafting them at the stations in the dungeons.

I like crafting and I think its a shame you can break your game so easily with it. I want to experience every aspect of this game and not have to avoid certain things because the way Bethesda designed it was wrong

Use the crafting skills as you need them and that's it. Simple.
