I want a fallout game where you choose your team (ncr, bos, legion, house, raiders, and new fractions)
you can make treatys withe them from your default rep and helping or supporting them(ex: raiders are hated by all, defending them from enemys giving food when there desprete
you start with __ amount of civilians and you can make them scavenge guns, scavenge armor, repair guns/armor search for alchol( brings drinkers if you have a bar), find ammo, make ammo(does less damage than pre war, scavenge food/liquids, scavenge drugs(brings junkies but people may leave)
trade with other fractions(ex: sell assult rifle for 300 caps)
make buildings like bars, casinos, baracks, wepon manufacture/ammo making
you can declare war ask for support against ennemys

What do ya think?

Edit: ment kinda like age of empires 3

Yes.
But it has to be non-canon.
That way we can work in Unity, Beastlords, Hairdy Deathclaws and Enclave too.

nothin wrong with non canon

And Forgot to add

each side has pros and cons

bos-cannot recurve civilians from allies but can only be decendants
ncr- cheaper men but less powerful
raiders- while on drugs they last 2x longer
etc

Interesting idea, I would probabpy like it if it was after an F4 so they could possibly through some more factions in.

I'd like it if it had some aspects from Civilization as well. You can build new cities, and team up against another faction (Having the Caesar's Legion, the WBoS, and the Unity team up against the NCR would be great!), along with having some large ampunts of Pre War tech in a certain area too. I just don't want it to rely so geavily on cities...

Now would this game be more of a sim city game or a rts? A fallout RTS game where you build towns would be interesting not sure how good it would be though, I mean fallout is kind of a world where theres resources lacking it wouldn't be realistic having huge army battles. I think a fallout prequal before the nuclear war would be suitable for an age of empires RTS type game. Thats just my opinion.

look i think a fallout rts would work..but you have to scavenger resources. so u send out prospectors/scavengers to hospitals for meds, to military bases for weapons..which u can sell or give to troops. you ocupy buldings that already existed or when you become more advanced you can build smaller buildings.

different troops may be an issue for some factions. ncr have no issu. trooper, 1st recon, rangers, veteran ranger (which maybe only hapens after they kill a certain amount of people like C&C Generals), heavy trooper etc. but bos..u have inciate, knight and paladin....like in eBOS u have lyons pride but ther don't have anywhere near as many as NCR or Ceasers legion.

i agree with sebor tho.. has to be done after FO4 so we get the aditional factions or faction chapters.

but i like the idea alot..i'd put myself down for several collectors editon..and if they had any dlc stuff come out with i'd get that as well....so bethesda if you're seeing this...u got several hundred from just me if you do it hahah.

anyway... i like the idea of each faction having pros and cons...and there could be several campaigns. from fallout lore and canon. so the NCR vs wBOS, enclave vs NCR, Unity VS bos (and everyone else), NCR vs khans and vipers), eBOS vs Eastern Enclave, NCR vs Enclave, battle of anchorage etc. have little campaigns that are canon then have skirmish..which is there just for fun..and has no relevance. :)

but you alos have like smaller factions which u can recruit like the natives on AOE3.....it could work....and i could keep going..but i'm procrastinating enough as is :P

I just had an idea that there could be the Followers of the Apocalypse who give you resources, heal you troops, etc. But they randomly spawn so they could appear right next to you or far away (and they can help your enemies aswell).

I'd like there to be multiple ingame campaigns but with others like " The Rise of the Legion" (which would be more about combat and politics) and "Lyon's Journey" (which would be more about exploration and short term resources) along with completely uncanon ones like "The Unity's Domination" (the Unity completely taking over) and "Legion vs. Enclave."

It would also be cool to start out as a small, customizable tribe that you name, etc.

Interesting idea, it could work if it was non-canon but when a company takes a dip to a new kind of unique thing they have to be very careful or else they will mess it up. I personally think Bethesda could pull this off but if they do I hope it is very detailed and massive.

Something like Blizzard RTS games of the C&C series, where each faction have their own pros and cons, unique habilities, and why not, subfactions

i love the followers ideas. i also thought about merchant and merchant companies the other night....merchants as a troop like the trade carts in aoe2 should definitely not happen..cause i never used them and merchants are a main part of the fallout series.....so i'd like to see merchants come to you and move from town to town or set up a trade center of sorts..which u can go to buy/sell resources

and i like the idea of the other campaigns like rise of the legion and lyon's journey...i think they could be the extra canon that could be added to the fallout lore...like it's stuff we have already know thats happened but they could give us more info etc.

i think the unity taking over and legion vs enclave ones should be left to skirmish tho.

however in saying this....i bring you another game mode to add to campaign and skirmish..... Contiental Conquest. you literally take over all the towns/places of importance (POI) until the contient is yours..kinda like galactic conquest in starwars battlefront2..where u choose a planet to attack and you create fleets...but in ours we have POI that you choose to attack and certain POI give you bonuses...eg Pitt gives you extra ammo supplies, New Vegas give you income, hover dam gives you power etc. you create armies/battalions or regiments or whatever and expand. each battle goes back into the RTS style but you have to decide where to attack first and be strategic...like a massive game of risk for fallout......(ohhh if there was a fallout risk boardgame and i'd buy it....just saying)...this could add that fictional campaign feeling but with the extra tactics and defensive plans/strategies
