It would be amazing and ridiculous.
It would be amazing and ridiculous.
Miraak wasn't a clone of our character, and he wasn't ridiculous. It was done before in DLC for a different sci-fi franchise, though.
Maybe you're your own evil clone.
In which case, you'd have to kill yourself.
Or accept the fact that you're the evil clone.
Moral dilemma twist!
Would be cool if the clone has the same stats , weapon and armor that you currently are using .
Nonono wait , that wouldn't be fun if you have a Big Boy , 2 shot Gauss or Instigating missile launcher , because will end in a 1 hit kill match
I am the one with a curly mustache. And this nutty idea.
That's probably my favorite random encounter, but... karma?
While the fight is going on, have the focus switch between the two as one or the other seems to be winning. If the player has less health than the attacking synth, you would start playing as the synth. The the eventual winner would continue the game, with the synth winner having occasional glitches going wild in the settlements.
Technology can't be evil. You'll just have to kill a morally neutral one.
^---- THIS would be an epic story arc, if it was done right.
Of course, that means the Institute's reach would have to be further than the Commonwealth since...well, the ending of FO4 sort of demands it to be if you didn't side with the Institute. I've been dying to see them expand this game into Toronto or Vancouver, so maybe that could be the leap to the west coast again -- a version of the Institute there, run by Shaun's synth clone or something.
Nuuuuuuuuuuuuu my man Kellog is an awesome cyborg mercenary!
First thing this reminded me of was that Mass Effect 3 DLC, Citadel.
Or Saints Row IV
"Evil me is kind of an [censored]"
"Good you is kind of an [censored]"
this can be easily done. start a new game and design your character to look like the synth courser, and then go fight it.
What'd be awesome is a enemy that also had access to our perks and the bonuses, imagine getting pain trained by a brother hood paladin, or getting sand manned while sleeping in a unsafe area? I think there is massive potential for gameplay in regards to enemies having stealth behavior, and literally trying to sneak up on us or stalk us until we loot you know? instead of just having a instead fight as soon as your spotted, this could tie in with the perception. I mean what's the point of having chameleon death claws or invisible enemies if they don't do anything different? What if the mythical legendary albinos or whatever actually had special AI personalities and would hunt you over long distances like an ongoing boss fight/hunt. Instead of making enemies tougher make them smarter or incorporate the abillities we have into them as well so we'd even the playing field so to speak or challenge us even, what if there was a special enemy type that only used unarmed melee but every time he got close enough to attack he would trigger a animation that knocks us down and then he'd run away to try and flank us again? that'd be really cool to see you know? they have awesome mechanics in the game they just need get more crazy with what they've got
Didn't something like this already happen in Oblivion?
