This game is riddled with hackers. EA and Crytek have totally failed to develop any meaningful way to stop people from pirating their game or ruining it for people who bought a legit copy. I've tried to struggle along after losing tons of XP and getting unlocks reset and assessments reset again and again, and I've put up with all of the quirks and workarounds because the game CAN be fun, but it rarely is.

This game is being ruined by cheaters. Cheaters love to read whining posts like this, and they love being biched at in game and its because they know there is literally nothing we can do about it. They can ruin our fun and there is nothing we can do. Crytek and EA have our $60, the hackers paid nothing to ruin it for us, they have nothing to lose because they will just create another fake account to ruin it for us. Banning hackers after the fact is meaningless.

The game will never be fixed. Crytek have no idea how to make a AAA multiplayer game and they shouldn't have bothered trying. I put over 300 hours into Modern Warfare 2 and another hundred or so hours into BlackOps, and as flawed as those games were they generally worked. The experience was generally not ruined by cheaters on a constant basis like it is in Crysis 2. I paid money to play this game and it has been a struggle against bugs from the beginning. I lost thousands of nano-catalyst in the single player game, I gained and lost the same levels 2 or 3 times in multiplayer, I had my kill counts reset over and over and I've still stuck it out trying to MAKE THE GAME FUN and I don't know why I am doing it anymore.

I am sure the game is a blast on 360 and PS3. I am sure the cheaters are sticking to the PC for this game because its apparently so laughably easy to do. If Crytek think that PC gaming is dying because of the piracy, they need to look a bit harder at their own QA process because this game is a JOKE. Laughable! The graphics are gorgeous, the sound effects are amazing, the story is pretty bad but kept me interested enough to keep playing, and the core gameplay of Crysis is still there and still fun, but the game is practically DARING you to put up with its flaws to stick it through to the end. How many times was I shot through walls by enemies after I decloaked? I lost count. The AI is awful. They basically made vehicles impossible to use in this game because the levels are so small, but what a missed opportunity! Imagine driving a tank down the streets of NY blasting Pingers? You'll have to because there is no set piece in this game as good as the tank battle in Crysis.

Why do I keep making myself try to play this game when it clearly wants me to give up? I made it to rank 21 and I want to keep going but I am tired of hackers laughing at me when I want to play the game I bought. Why wasn't this game made with Steamworks or Punkbuster or something that actually works to prevent cheating MOST of the time?

I want my money back. They can have it back when the game is done, this is ridiculous. Queue up the posts defending the game like I just insulted a family member.
