Yeah Tactics is a GREAT Game! Another like it? I'd have to think about it, maybe, I'm undecided with no voting option for that. Are we talking about a new FPS/rpg? Could it be done? Micromanaging your team? Could it be done on a console? Or are we talking about PC only game?

Absolutely, Fallout Tactics was great and maintained good difficulty. It was a game where stats and abilities of both yourself and enemies really counted ... and hence gave the great tactical play. Figures and calculations abounded, it was a real so-called 'hardcoe' RPG game, and normal setting was hard enough. THIS is what the next Fallout should be ... something along those lines ... with role-play interaction added in of course, and storyline.

Never played an RTS game that worked on Consoles, so it would have to be PC.

I really enjoy Fallout Tactics, I have been playing it for years. I don't think there will ever be a fallout like it again. Seeing as how the fallout community has a hard time understanding its place in the lore. I say its all canon but for some oil drums. Others confuse it for "Brotherhood of Steel." It would be good to see people playing it again. It had an online component but at the time when it came out my internet was crap. I think fallout is still trying to define itself as a RPG and making another game like Tactics would just confuse people more. Another game people fight over about it being canon or not just because its not a RPG would just be a pain.

It's not just because it's not a rpg. There are contradictions.

There are contradictions with every Fallout game. I think it was J.E Sawyer or Chris Avellone that said that. There are no major contradictons with Tactics other then the Oil Drums. All the other "contradictions" can be explanded the same way people try to explain why Vault 87 has another type of FEV in it. Or why DC has not green plants other then Oasis.

Only game Tactics has mojor contradictions with is Van Buren and Van Buren was never made therefore Tactics dones not contradict it.

I agree with Styles. I really liked Tactics, it's fun because it's different. Commanding a squad in the Fallout universe with R Lee Ermey yelling in your face was always cool to me. I wouldn't mind if they released something like Tactics, but it probably won't happen. (Especially remembering what NMA thought of it when it was released.)

I'm a fan of Tactics. I wouldn't mind at all if someone made another one like it. I like strategy games, and Tactics is a good one. No. A really good one. It was the most challenging of all the Fallouts for me to complete. For that alone it has my respect.
