Can't they bring back a Dwemer for us to play in DLC?

Imagine the reaction the Skyrim peeps as you roll into town.

It would be totally, and by totally I mean TOTALLY, awesome.

The Dwemer are dead and cannot come back.

Though I have seen ideas for mods or DLC's that are set in the past, when they were still around.
I think that is a fascinating idea, and if something like that ever happens, Id want to play a Dwemer too.

But don't worry, there'll soon be a Dwemer race composed of scaled down Nords. Or bearded Bosmer if we're lucky.

If you even took a glance at the lore, you would know how stupid that idea is.
Honestly, Cliffracers have a better chance of becoming a playable race than Dwemer do. >_>

Because they are dead.
They were absorbed into Numidium when Kagrenac struck the Heart.

You probably mean Masser with the massive planet in the sky. It is the largest of two moons that orbit Nirn, and the body of a dead god.
Cyrus says it reminded him of Morrowind, or Yokuda.

The guards protect them with their lives so you could cluck about the Tundra with a pose of them sweeping aside all you stand before you.
