Post » Sun May 18, 2014 3:11 am

after i beat rage i felt as if i am hungry for more. i bought this game because of gameinformers ratings and decided to pick it up and play it yesterday. i really like the game and think the upcoming release of the xbox1 will be a perfect time to release it along with that consle.i hope the employees at bethesda studios agrees this game needs a sequal to continue its glory.

I wouldn't mind a sequel.

Only on one condition; JC only gets to make code that contributes to gameplay this time.

I'd love a sequel as well, maybe not so concentrated in the outlands, but maybe have missions both in the outlands and within capital prime itself? Open up the southern sectors as well like assisting Gun Barrel or something. But as they say in the movies "more, I want more".

I'd like a sequel as well to but I don't think it's going to happen. Zenimax supposedly decided to cancel plans for RAGE 2 due to lacking sales of 2.3 million and the poor performance of progress id Software has been having with Doom 4. Shame to as there's so much potential with the RAGE-verse and yet we probably won't see anymore of it :(

On a side note, is the Anachy Edition ever going to come to PC as a seperate purchase/download? Supposedly you can get the Anarchy edition separate for X360 and PS3 from their respective stores but no such option exists for PC.

They didn't decide to "cancel" it. Nobody has decided anything yet. There is very recent http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/07/03/bethesda-on-potential-dishonored-rage-sequels on that.

I wish the whole idea of it would just die in a fire. I wish most games were never made and that the effort that went into them was instead put in to the handful of good games.

Well that was just posted the other day so that's news to me, at least there's a speck of hope now for a sequel but I won't hold my breath.

Actually, nothing ever implied there would be no Rage2. Rage2 was postponed so that Doom4 could get done, and that is all that ever happened.

They could decide to cancel it if they wanted to, but there was never any official word on it being a possibility. Rumors spread too easily these days

True but couldn't hurt to wish it. Rumors give fans hope. I wouldn't mind a sequel. Not only that but for the dev to release an ultra limited collectors edition of lets say 100 quantities priced at $150 or $200. Like that game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning did. On there website it was priced at $250 I believe. I remember 1 of that rare edition was sold on ebay $1000+.

I was talking about the rumor that Rage2 was cancelled. The rumor was bogus, it was Kotaku-esque.

There was word from the devs that there'd be a Rage2 even before Rage1 released, so until they officially state it's cancelled, we can still hope for a Rage2.

Although i enjoyed the original game, i felt underwhelmed at how it ended... dont get me wrong it has some replay value but not what i expected tbh. If a sequel is to be made id like them to take their time and have a longer story with alot more depth to the game, i would rate the original just over 7 out of 10, it could be alot better imo.

I would love another Rage but with less repetition in questing areas.

x2

Rage is the best game ID have in terms of scope.

It is open world (Look at all the hype for Metal Gear Solid open world 1st person shooter).

It has first person shooter on-line opportunity to compete with Call of Duty (but offering a different back drop to the present day / WWII world of COD). Imagine Team Death Match of two different Rage gangs

It has vehicles again offering some great online multiplayer options. They could even incorporate vehicles into online multiplay like Battlefield has done.
