In the previous elder scrolls games there was an option at the beginning of the game that would allow you to answer a series of questions in order to determine what your character's class should be. This question (or at least a reference to it) has appeared in every TES game that I've played. It's somewhat famous for some reason. Even though that system wasn't used in Oblivion there is still a reference to it in skingrad. They even make a referance to it in Fallout 3.

I understand that my statement would make little sense to people who never read Tolkien or played the original fantasy roleplaying games from the 70's. Having grown up with that, I have a different perception of orcs than people who have learned about them from TES and Playstations and what not. I'm not saying one is wrong and one is right, I'm just saying it's a different experience in Oblivion, and I don't particularly like the way they portray orcs.

While I see nothing wrong with Bethesda implementing a different approach to orcs, I particularly also have difficulties accepting their concept of a more 'social' or human-friendliy. In my gameplays I always see orcs at the very least as non-friendly and often as enemies.

Mazorga the Orc is in general my personal choice as a 'gift' to the Night Mother (but rp-wise should be an imperial guard or noble, so i may choose to change that).

In my perception, the human and elven peoples would be more likely to react negatively against not only orcs, but khajiit and argonians as well, as ppl tend to treat the 'very different' as a threat.

Depends on the orc.


I would absorb the liche's attacks as I am born under the ATronach. Then I would cast Turn undead on one zombie, summon my own creature and engage in balanced battle with the remaining zombie. Perhaps cast Alteration for good measure.
