I so want the Nuka Cola Girl's outfit

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 6:15 am

Even though FO4 will not have nudity, I could settle for things like my character's vault suit or my favorite outfit Metal Armor from FO3 or some other skin-tight outfit.

I love how the Nuka Cola girl's outfit look and would love to see my female character wearing it. Could it be found in the ruins of a Nuka Cola building?

I doubt they would have skimpy outfits from Victoria's Secret in game or in a DLC.

From my understanding of physics, combat, and the future.....Typically all a female needs for battle is pasties and a small sliver of metal to cover the lower abdominal area. For years I have been outspoken (ok thats not true but i do [censored] about it, and I really like naked ladies heheh) but how can my voice be heard above the skin flashes of red sonja, barberella, and ever damn comic book girl ever......

Is it to much to ask Just once to see a Heavily armored competent female (yes yes thank you Brieann of tarth)

Or perhaps a heavily scared female veteran, being asked by the new Go Go dancing girl hero, what happened??

And the answer being " I used to dress like you."

Then again it certainly would make the comic cons boring.

Well, females in Bethesda games are wearing proper unisix armor on almost all occasions so kudos to Bethesda on that. Though I fully intend to make the Nuka cola gal as my character and will be gay (in a 50's sense) if I happen to find it!

Lol, yeah. Hopefully they don't make a companion like Quiet from MGS V. She looks like a 15 year old's wet dream.

According to concept art book, that "thirst zapper" gun may indeed be real. Also considering we saw a spacesuit in the trailers, I find it somewhat probable that they put the suit in the game. Worst case scenario is that somebody modding it next year!

Could be, but maybe not like you think. Armor is in pieces now, so you might be able to create it from picking certain combinations, but it might not look like you think. For example; in the E3 video, we see the male character wearing a bubble-helmet, but it is dirty and darkened.

So, you may be able to create it, but it will probably look old and dirty.

Well going by the previews we've seen there are definately costumes. Course it also looks like they can be worn by both sixes. Now I'm trying to picture my male PC in that getup.

Yep.. we've built us a weird society. Male heroes can be ugly, scarred and big nosed... Only requirement seems to be muscles, specifically abdominal muscles. Female heroes can either be soft and approachable or sixy and damaged, They require "inner strength.".....( and abdominal muscles.) If they have a scar, it's a sixy scar that somehow accentuates a facial feature. Every now and then you might get a chubby male hero, Very rarely do we ever see the chubby female hero. They seem to mainly require "comedic timing."

Since this is the basic perception we grow up with, even women tend to design sixy female characters.. Famous female fantasy artists perpetuate the sixy female warrior, topless brandishing a bloody sword. It's a hard image to escape.. I mean, it's what you'd want to be.. Beautiful, sixy, deadly. Not many people aspire to be dumpy, pleasant and panicky.. even though that's what most of us are. Soo, until someone comes along that can create an amazing female hero that is atypical to our understanding of that hero.. and greatly succeeds at it. We're kind of stuck with our midriff exposed, form fitting metal armor.

At least Fallout's power armor has never been form fitting. Power armor is perhaps one of the first non gender specific armors in a game.

This is why I sometimes dress characters in skimpy outfits. I play fantasy games to get away from real life for an hour or two a day. I don't desire so-called "realism" in a video game. If I wanted "realism" I'd go to the mall.

Playing a roleplaying game allows me to pretend that I am more than I am in real life. It allows me to inhabit characters who are stronger, more capable, more intelligent - and sixier - than I believe myself to be in real life. If these games stuck me with armor and clothing that looked like the kind of thing I see around me everyday in real life I doubt I'd want to play them often, or for very long.

Being someone else for awhile is what roleplaying is all about to me. And that includes, but is not limited to, being someone who can not only do the things I daydream of doing in real life but cannot, but also being someone who can dress the way I daydream of dressing in real life but do not.

Getting back on topic - the Nuka Cola outfit is one that would be very easy to do by modders. I am sure there is one in your future, either from Bethesda or the community.

Ummm... frankly, almost all you see in Western games is the boring, unfashionable female character dressing and acting the same as males.

Evidently you didn't listen to the constant (false) marketing from Todd and Pete with every new game claiming that we can "be whoever we want and do whatever we want".

The problem, you see, is LACK OF CHOICE! You want to roleplay a woman who has escaped from slavery and prostitution with only the outfit that she managed to take with her? Sorry... can't do that.

Kind of makes a mockery of the marketing claims, you know?

Its just the pinup girl that's been on posters for a while now. If its not in-game you can expect a mod sooner or later.
