War Mods?

Post » Sun May 29, 2011 12:33 am

I been playing oblivion for a while, but I think I still have alot to learn. I never used mods, and I wanted to know if there are any mods that makes some guilds or some cities to have a war between them? I think it would spice up the game to defend a city from another city because they are in war or something.

Thank you.

I don't know of any off-hand. You might do better asking the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1107662-mod-detectives-116/.

I don't know the details, but the mod Bladesong advertises "a large scale war" as one of its features.

My list has several topics about this very thing:
http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1010109

Ooops, that's the list of lists... they're right next to each other in my bookmarks:
http://www.gamesas.com/?showtopic=1072579

The first http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?showtopic=1056783&hl=azerbagb topic is pretty good because I actually took the time to quote all of the recommendations from the old topics and put it in one post.

The BladeSong war scenario is decent if you want a large scale sword fight. Powerful magic tends to end the fight pretty quickly, unfortunately you really don't want a horrible computer like mine though because in that case the enemies usually kill your allies pretty fast and then you're left taking on 15+ guys at once. (That's if you decided to go the sword fighting route)

There's never been a serious attempt to make one simply because of the Oblivion game engine limitations.
If you've ever been unfortunate enough to have had 20+ npc's on your screen simultaneously you'll know why.
