I believe Darkom agreed that 'Of Blood and Quill' would be a good name for the rp. So, do you like this name as well Josh?

We'll use the new name, his timeline, I'll send a CS template to you in a few minutes -- with a set of rules -- and the list of joinable factions. When we post the sign-up thread, all of this will go on there.

Of the RP, well not entirley. I have a good basis of the story so far but when it progresses I will come up with more stuff with Dren, Darkom and Mammoth. And the actual RP signup sheet, intro, rules, and timeline will be done today and posted today.

Slow down, Josh. We can't have a plot set up entirely, as the players need a little free room. IF I'm not mistaken, political RPs are controlled largely by the player's ideas. But you'd have to ask Wooly.

In other news, I am working on the timeline now, and will do the intro again when I'm done.

Thanks for the list of factions but which one is the Empire under?

That would be Cyrodiil... the name of the country Oblivion is set in... where the Imperial city is and whatnot

Just incase there is any confusion here are the alliances, The Imperials are with the Nords, Dunmers and Bosmer. And the Redguards and Bretons are neuatrel. As for the other races those are the ones the Emperor is slaving and killing. And yes I know the Dunmers and Bosmer are both elves so you are probably wondering why the Emperor is working for them, well all will be explained.[/b]

Don't worry Blade, it seems Josh was a little mistaken. Don't worry, what I posted earlier is the current list, and probably won't be changing any time soon (with the possible exception of the names).

'Fraid not top. I understand we're anxious to begin, but we still need to hash out some of the lore and develop a reasonable character sheet template. I was thinking as long as the players send in cs' with plenty of depth and info we'll pretty much be lenient in how they look.

Just be sure to tell us who your character is aligned with. And I can't stress this enough people; please put plenty of detail into your bio's. There should be enough lore present, provided by Darkom(Talos bless him), to have a lenthy bio. If building a character sheet is challenging, feel free to ask Josh, Darkom, Wooly or myself, to take a look at it. We will gladly oblige.

Indeed, please wait on the sign up sheet. I want to run my lore by the lore forum before it is finalized, so we might not be ready until about Friday.

What Dren said is true: the more information you put into your character the better. And remember that they don't need to have combat or magic skills, unless they are in the Freedom Fighters they will most likely not see much battle. Generals weren't really known for killing hundreds, that would be the armies

Nope, not ready at all. This takes a lot of thought and planning; what we have now took an hour and a half as it is. Please be patient guys, I'll be done shortly, and I promise we can start signing up on Friday. Thanks

Ah, the first rough draft is finished

It took a while, and it is still being checked over by my lore friends, but this is what I've got. I'm still writing an extensive history for the new Emperor, the Nerevarine, Ocato, the new Mane, the new leader of Argonia, and the political state of High Rock. I didn't want to clutter up this page, so if you would like to see it, please visit the lore section (or http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=1056435&st=0#entry15330939). Thanks

EDIT: Of course, Dren, I have researched as much as I can, but I can't be expected to read all of that in such a short time. It would take a good week for me to get all the information I wanted, when asking the lore buffs is so much faster and more convenient

We've decided if you'd like to change something, as long as it doesn't go back on Darkom's timeline too much, that it's fine. Just make sure whatever you do makes actual sense. I'm picking up the Western Elven Alliance by the way. I'd like for the rp staff to have control of each faction. So if there's anything left open let me know. We have to keep the rp in line.

Ok I'll take the King of Sentinel and my own custom General(s) with their officers. I should be able to proof read the timeline by this weekend and then we can roll. So, we need to have a thread where the positions are listed.

Blade Master what do you want? You are pretty experienced, so you have my recommendation to possess a large faction, or you can just join up with one of us.

Now Dren, you know about your weapons? Goblins, Sunbirds, Etc? I am going to lay out the factions soon and what units they possess. Cheers everyone.
