Just wondering, is there a mod to make wards block melee attacks like shields do? Vanilla skyrim throws lots of melee enemies at you and makes wards kinda pointless for me.

Bonus points if the mod allows me to use the quick reflexes and block runner perk from the block tree .

Yes, there are such mods. I think there are standalone mods for that, but the only one i know myself is Perkus Maximus. That is a full overhaul, however.
