If you buy the dlc today you will lose money and never get to play the maps in a full lobby. This is a scam, don't fall for this trickery! Save your money and show Crytek we the fans are smarter than this, resist and stay away. 200 players on average, how many do you really think will buy this? Be smart guys.

What makes you think this thread among the others will extinguish their excitement?

It's sad of course, but then I'm probably just going to play private duel matches with friends who will buy the dlc.

I would like to have the dlc, money is of no issue to me and the maps look pretty fun....but not fun enough to waste money on a donation as far as I'm concerned. I'm not trying to "extinguish" anyone's hopes, I'm trying to save them from feeling like a fool and wasting money on something they will never be able to fully enjoy. If you want to buy it cool, I'm simpley stating 200 is average players on like for (ps3) and about the same on every system from my understanding.

I just wish it was standalone because the DLC itself looks kinda cool but the rest of the game is rubbish to me

I want the best for crytek but lets not fool ourselves, I suggest waiting a week to see how things are going. I'm sure the community will update on how it's selling or failing. They should have made camo and skins 5$ and the maps free, never split a small online community! That's gaming 101.
