Last night I was browsing these forums as usual; looking at peoples thoughts, bug, issues and more. I avoid all other internet forums or media to avoid spoilers. I THOUGHT these forums were relatively safe.

While on last night some moron with 2 posts who was a brand new member POSTED THE ENDING TO THE GAME IN HIS THREAD TITLE!

Apparently there are NO restrictions on new posters or members for some insane reason.

This is a PSA to all of you who don't want the ending to Fallout 4 ruined like it was for me last night; unless you don't care or have already finished the main quest I suggest going dark. The mods do their BEST but the rules to allow new people and trolls to post threads doesn't help the moderators catch people before it is too late.

It was here in the general section as part of the TITLE thread; NO spoiler tag nothing. It had no warning on it... in the actual post the guy said "TROLOLOLOL" ..... he was obviously a little kid who wanted to ruin it for everyone.

The moderator removed it,... then the guy posted it again! I pray he was banned.

Well the only way around this would be the have every thread 'approved' by a human prior to being posted, and while that may work on some forums this one is just way too busy. About all you can do is just roll with "that's just the way things are now" and enjoy the game best you can.

I don't blame the mods. I'm sure they're doing their best.

the solution is SIMPLE... don't allow members who signed up that day post threads. Most forum sights say you have to be a member with a certain amount of time or posts before making a new thread. This would help tremendously

Please don't make threads to complain about other members old or new. We try very hard to keep the general section free of spoilers but in the week or so just after release it is almost impossible. When you see something like that, report it and don't respond to it or make a thread about it.
