WARNING this thread is for the diehards only!....../ Okay how about a real hardcoe mode? Im talking about HARD not annoying no more down time looking for water or a place to sleep over and over this is what I would like in a hardkore mode (1) more enemies (2) all enemies are more powerful (3) npc's with far less disposition towards you (4) less money like 50%less (5) leveling up extended 20% (6) less items recovered (7) trapps take off more damadge (8) A real good reward for 100% completion other than an achievement how about oh i dont know? A real sick and unik set of armor and weapons!!~!!!...a thread like this may exist dont care this is my spin on it and i think it holds some weight ty for reading and have a nice day. :frog:
YES, 1) first more enemies is an easy way to make the game harder, two enemies is far more dangerous than one. The only thing a high level Oblivion character has to fear is a pack of daedrea, a spider daedra+ daedrot of daedra lord is dangerous.
2) The player is usually stronger than an npc at similar level, because he has far better equipment, he kills many enemies and takes the best loot making him better equipped than a boss at similar level, player is also much smarter and have better tactic.
3) not much to do with difficulty, you can always bribe charm or improve it, however it feels sweeter then you become a hero and everybody likes you.
4) Again agree, easiest is to tweak the trade system so traders pay less and have higher prices.
5) probably a good idea you level up many skills to fast in Oblivion.
6) not sure, yes use more enemies, a level offset and perhaps item quality to keep the amount of high end armor and weapons down. Keep what you see is what you loot and keep random loot the same.
7) should be default, not lethal for high level characters except the obvious and lethal looking ones but they should hurt far more.
8) What is 100% completion, done all quests? top of all guilds+ main quest?
