WARNING! 1.3 update breaks the GECK

Thanks! Good to have the ol' girl back!


Same ole piece of junk for me. Still the same problem. Still nothing in the preview window. Still none of the so called fixes people have posted in these forums have worked.

Well that was dumb of me to quote the wrong response.

If your GECKNV does not work after unpacking 1.3: the new editor might be named GECK without the NV part. If you made a shortcut and after 1.3 your GECK still does not work, you might wanna configure the shortcut to follow "GECK.exe" instead of "GECKNV.exe". That one worked for me. For some reason it's named GECK instead of GECKNV, like 1.0 and 1.1 were.

Good eye, this is true. However, I think that their issue isn't opening the program, it's loading the files in it.

Ive got 1.1 and its still wont load the FallouNV.esm data files...
