Myself, mr.smileysmile and Hircine21 have had discussions regarding wether or not to revive the rp the warren but before we go to doing such a task we need to find out it anyone would be interested because obviously there is no point doing this of no one Is interested some of you may remember the warren but for those who don't it was on of the most successfull rp's in a long time.

The warren is about a settlement that is established roughly about a month after the bombs fell the rp itself consists of it's people and the issues they face over the years. The rp has no real end but was always kept interesting.

So if anyone is interested let us know here or pm me or mr.smileysmile but here is the ideal place, also any ideas you may have are welcome to. If we get enough intrest we can get a sign up going.

A lot of the people who were instrumental to the series have dropped off for one reason or another.

We need new blood. If you are interested please, as Venix said, post here or contact one of us.

A lot is going to be happening in the thread by the end of this weekend, hopefully it will bring some interest.

The only reason it has been as successful as it has been, has been the large number of posters who have come and gone. Whether you were there from the beginning, a late joiner, or someone who joined early on and then disappeared, you played a part in the progression of the story.

We were planning on picking up at a point at the end of the little fan fiction I'm writing. I'm going to go ahead and just shove everything I was going to write over the next month or so into this weekend.

I remember The Warren at the very beginning-I had a different account then that got deleted from inactivity. It was a lot of fun, but life sort of caught up to me and I had poor management skills with it, so I never had the time to play shortly after it started. =\ Which I, admittedly, felt and feel really guilty about-though I honestly couldn't ever have a chance to get on due to life problems. I ought to be handle it better now, especially during winter break. In which I could be on several times a day without the slightest of trouble.

But if it starts before then, and I can still join AFTER it starts, I'd be happy to still join. But I can't join before, I don't think, because I wouldn't ACTUALLY be very active-I've got to worry about some projects and midterms right now, and so the best I could do is maybe ever other day until the seventeenth. Unless that isn't a problem activity wise.

But yeah, it was and is a really cool idea-so you certainly have my interest. ;]

I can't recall my character's name, but she was one of the youngest(I wanted to make her very open to character development by being young, thus impressionable), and I think Hispanic. And I'm not positive, but I believe my older username was Zurielle at the time? I used to use it all the time, then found it was getting a tad old-and was deleted here, so yeah. I only was in the beginning of the first thread, for reasons already mentioned, and only just realized this was still alive and well. =]

My first post in the Fan Fic kind of hints at what's happened but....

First night around the fireplace
Zombie attack during the night
We all run into a small building and climb toward the roof
(End of First Thread)

Dan and some soldiers are scouting about, John Holmes is holding up and collecting weapons, William (I think) is in a post office
Dan makes contact with everyone on the roof
John Holmes and William make contact with Dan as Samuel, Collie, and Zoey come down to meet them
(the zombies are momentarily gone)
Zombies attack, lots of soldiers die, Jansen Aercin (the native american) appears and offers to take everyone to The Warren
We get there and start building a society
William creates a police force, Samuel is unanimously decided leader, Dan starts building an army
Samuel gets sicker
Jansen two other tribals, Collie, Zoey, and Dan go to a nearby hospital to look for medicine and perhaps a medical helicopter
John, Samuel, Mac and Jimmy (John's friends) stay in The Warren and fight off attacks from irradiated buzzards
Jansen pulls a gun on the doctor at the hospital

The doctor, Murrow, gets back to The Warren and helps heal the sick Samuel.
John, Samuel, Mac, and Jimmy defeat the buzzard things
One of the farms run by The Warren is attacked. John is the lone survivor, taken captive by the Abu Nidal.
The inhabitants try to find out where John is.
Zoey, Murrow, Dan and Samuel remain in The Warren.
Murrow and Zoey want to take it slow, Dan wants to strike militarily.
William wants to build up a protective police force, Dan wants to take control of William's men
Collie and Mac find John in Jerusalem, also run in to Larry.
Jimmy and Murrow run into the Notoh Tribe.
Samuel get's tired of Dan trying to take control and executes him.
The Abu Nidal war begins with a suicide bombing against The Warren

Ah, kk, cool. :] Thanks for so much info, in my experience people aren't so keen to being that benevolent about it. I'll try to read up on the fanfiction during my free time tomorrow(technically, actually, today for me now). I won't have a crap load, gotta fix up a project and start sketching up some pictures for a separate one, but I ought to be able to make some progress with it. =] Plus, it ought to be fun to read.

I can't see that being a problem dan however you would need to create a new character as, sadly your original character was killed and kettleison your more than welcome I know for a fact you are a decent rp'er and committed you guys might have to wait a day or so for the sign up as smiley is working on some work for it so just sit tight guys

Just wanted to come in to explain a bit.

I had intended this Warren Revival to be simply a Fan Fiction, but kind of hoped that it would lead to the RP starting again.

I have about 3 more posts to make to the Fan Fiction. Again, these were intended to be widely spread apart and thus longer and better...but I'd rather get the RP going again.

I should have those posts done by the end of the weekend, possibly sooner as my schedule is relatively free on Friday.

A lot will be changing.

You see I believe the reason the Warren stalled in it's third thread was that everyone had grown bogged down in a war with a different faction, known as the Abu Nidal. We were all against it and the only poster who controlled a member of the faction, Dr. Strangelove, left to serve our country.

Therefore I'm implementing a time jump to shortly after the war. In order to make it more interesting for myself and old or new posters I'm changing a good bit too. I killed one of my characters in the first post, and there will be a few more BIG changes in my next few posts.

P.S. It's good to see you back Dan. Despite the differences we had you were a good writer. Some of the stuff I'll be writing might offend you a bit, but wait until I finish because it will become more clear that the bad stuff that happens isn't really all that connected to Dan, he's just a useful metaphor.
