Warrior "build"

Post » Sat Sep 24, 2011 5:29 am

Only interested to hear from those that will actually be playing a warrior or combi please!

It has been ages since i played a TES game so i must admit that my knowledge is a bit rusty to say the least. Interested to know where those that will play a warrior kind 'o character will likely invest their precious "points" with the information we know right now!

'builds' do not exist in skyrim. Major and minor skills have been ommited. You simply get better at everything you do and it all contributes to levelling.

Im glad, the idea of 'builds' detracts from roleplaying. People let their build determine how they play rather than connecting to their character.

I'm going to try to be a Battlemage or Sorcerer that uses a sword & staff so I'll be investing my points in the One Handed skill as well as Destruction.

*gasp* Something positive from you, never saw that coming.

Anyways, I'm doing a Barabarian thing first so...

One Handed
Two Handed
Archery
Block
Smithing
Light/Heavy Armor

For my Nord character i will use enchanting and smithing to make some custom bad-ass two-handed weapons and armor.

for a pure warrior i would pick :

Race: a redguard for adrenaline rush or a orc for their berserk ability

Skills: depending on your play style would be one handed (for either single sword warrior or dual wield warrior / one handed and block (classic sword and shield) / or two handed (for a great sword or battle ax warrior), heavy armor, smithing, and anything else you feel like you would want to plug into the equation.

attributes: high health, medium stamina, low magicka

Not sure myself yet since i DO plan on using restoration in some cases but that is mostly as far as i am willing to go since i've never really liked the idear 'o my character being a mage...
