Alchemy is good for replacing Restoration, and can allow you to use magic effects from Restoration,Alteration,Mysticism, and Illusion. EDIT -You can also make poison for your weapon.

Of those? Security.

Unless you're playing OOO or something having security as a major is completely pointless because it depends on your real life skill at locking in each tumbler rather your in game skill. I.E. you can easily open a very hard lock with a lockpick skill of one.

My second and third choices would be getting rid of acrobatics, then athletics.

Restoration levels slowly, so having it as a major is certainly not a bad idea. Alchemy as a minor is great because it levels so fast, and Restore Health potions are ( IMHO ) preferable to healing spells. You have all three Endurance-based skills as majors. I would consider replacing one of those. Either Block or Armorer because those two level fairly fast.

I agree with theotherRIck, except for the part about health potions. I put Restoration as a major nearly always because of its slow leveling, but use healing spells for healing, and potions for emergencies. If you strictly use the Minor Heal spell that you get at the beginning, restoration will level up a little faster than average. I find Acrobatics level slowly too, and I keep that as a major. Dump Armorer. With a fighter, Block, if you're blocking correctly, will go up insanely fast. Pick up all your enemies' gear, repair it, then put it back into a corpse/container if you can't carry it. (Cuts down on lag if you don't leave crap laying all over every dungeon.) Your Armorer, as a minor will shoot up.

My Orc Warrior doesn't use Restoration (or any other spell) at all. I took The Lord as a Birthsign, and the heal from that combined with potions from Alchemy is all you'll ever need. Oh, and Alchemy is a Major for me. It's a fast leveling skill regardless, but making it a Major turns it into a "level whenever I feel like it" major.

Some things to note about the The Lord Birthsign...

- Someone once posted that if you made a custom spell that does the same thing as the Blood of the North heal, you would have to have a Restoration of 89 before the custom spell would be more efficient than Blood of the North. I'm not positive but I'm guessing that didn't take into account the fact that Blood of the North isn't effected in any way by what armor you are wearing (no armor penalty for casting it.) It is a perfect heal for a melee character imho.

- It acts more like a regeneration spell than a typical heal spell. This means you are spending less time casting heals and more time swinging war hammers!

Good hunting!

In my opinion, I would definitely replace Heavy Armor with Restoration.

Heavy Armor increases pretty fast as a minor (Restoration is incredibly slow as a minor, or even as a major). And a trick for Heavy Armor is to find some weak Goblins with rusty daggers and just let them hack away to train. Also you currently have all three endurance skills (heavy armor, block, armorer) as majors, which due to the strange leveling system will likely make it difficult to get good endurance bonuses.
