Here is my sheet. Decided to go with a pretty much pure Thief-type guy. Let me know what you guys think.

Name: Montilagil
Nickname: Monty
Race: Bosmer
Age: 77 (appears to be in his late 40’s)
Gender: Male
Birthsign: The Thief

Class: Rat-man
Strengths: Despite his appearance, Monty is actually a very flexible and limber person. Combined with his small stature, he uses this to his advantage. He is able to fit into places that no normal thief could ever hope to. Chimneys, garbage chutes, cupboards… not obstacles for Monty. Because of his unique skills, he has earned the title of Rat-man, able to explore the places only he and the rats can get to. Is also trained in the essential arts of thievery, and is an accomplished pickpocketer, from his days on the streets prior to joining the Thieves Guild. (Skills: Sneak, Security, Mercantile, Contortionism, Pickpocketing)
Weaknesses: Monty is fairly useless in combat, and his abrasive personality turns many people off. In addition, his proclivity for alcohol (and other vices) sometimes distracts him from the task at hand.
Misc: Monty is very well connected, and has a multitude of underworld contacts, many of whom owe him significant favors. He knows the ins and outs of fences, codes, and other elements of the world of “extra-legal activities.”

General appearance: Short, even for a Bosmer. Always has a harried look about him, like he’s constantly late. Has dusky skin, and a permanent scowl plastered on his face. Has a brown shade of hair that can make some people nauseous if looked at for too long. Is a stocky fellow, barrel-chested and with a bit of a gut, uncommon to the usually slightly built Bosmer. Also has very blunt facial features, and if it wasn’t for his ears, some might mistake him for a tiny Nord.
Hair: A mess of matted, frayed (and randomly braided in places) sickly brown hair.
Eyes: The same color as his hair… only more disgusting
Height: 5’0”
Weight: 110

Weapons: A small, simple leather-bound club (much like a blackjack), which he uses only in emergencies (or when he’s exceptionally pissed off).
Armor: None
Clothing: Black pants that have been worn nearly gray in some places (and which he is constantly pulling up, as if they are about to fall off completely), a white shirt (with many years worth of food and mead stains) over which he wears a black, knee-length jacket with wide sleeves, fancy silver cufflinks and buttons, and obscenely large lapels. Also wears a pair of black boots, with specially made soles that are perfect for sneaking around without being heard.
Misc Inventory: Has several tools of the trade, such as sturdy, custom made lockpicks, and a small mirror (for signaling and peering around corners). A pair of tiny reading spectacles he keeps in the briast pocket of his jacket, a Septim with the face nearly worn off of both sides, which he is constantly flipping in the air and fidgeting with (it’s the first thing he ever stole), a perfectly clean handkerchief which he uses (unsuccessfully) as a bib, among other things, and enough Septims to get himself drunk at any tavern he comes across.

Personality: Is a curmudgeon. Is exceedingly short-tempered and sarcastic. Although he is rarely violent, can be verbally belligerent. Treats everybody as if they are an enormous waste of his time. Gives begrudging respect to fellow thieves. His good side is shown only in times of stress or danger. If he gets bored, he gets pissed.

Bio: Monty’s early years are filled with turmoil and “wrong place at the wrong time” moments, far too many to tell. He turned to thievery and pickpocketing at a young age, in order to survive on the streets. While imprisoned for several months for getting into a fistfight with a noble’s retainer, he met a member of the Thieves Guild who was “recruiting” (essentially, got thrown in jail on purpose, in order to meet potential recruits). Interested in anything that could get him off the streets, Monty agreed. He quickly became a talented professional thief, utilizing his unique skills to aid the Guild.
With the coming of the Oblivion Crisis, things took a turn for the worse for Monty. Distracted from his usual life of crime, it was a fight just to stay alive with the invasion by the Daedra. In the years since the end of the Oblivion Crisis, Monty has lived off his earnings from years past as the world began to rebuild. Now, in an attempt to escape from the doldrums of civilian life, Monty has sought a return to his halcyon days of thievery.

Hehe, that sounds like a really funny character, Ezequiel :P

Is he going to be one of the Nine or a tag-along?

The man is so small he is able to crawl into the slightest hole...

I don't have much input on Bosmer. I have assassin experience, but all of mine are athletic RedGuards and Imperial sleeper agents.

Can't give much elven input.

I do have one thing though.

I am 5'7. 130. I am not the skinniest of people.

When i was 5'0 and at the age of 12, I weighed 120 pounds, and I was stacked.

150 at 4'10 is just really weird.

There would be no way he would be mobile.

That is like sumo wrestler...

Jerod: I was planning on him being one of the Nine, but he could be a tag-along as well. I haven't really been keeping track of who is what, so if there isn't a spot in the Nine open, he can just be a groupie. B)

wooly: Yeep! Yeah, this was cobbled together from several different character sheets, I changed that. The guy isn't quite that fat, haha!

Yea it would be about 110 or 120 if he was just stocky.

I was about to say...

his parents must have done quite a lot of skuma...quite a lot...

I think there are possibly two 'Nine' spots left. Not sure.

Also, I made some changes to my CS all the way back on page four. Maybe I'll just post it on the current page to save trouble of going back to page four and searching for it...

EDIT: Also, the mental picture of a Bosmer Sumo Wrestler made me laugh, hard :biglaugh:

As she seems to be generally well received by the good folks here, and I want to try my hand at roleplaying an assassin, I think I'm going to go with Jade on this one. I only hope that I can pull off the execution as well as the conception seems to have gone. You can slot her for one of the 'Nine' or as a tag along, Jerod; whichever you prefer.

Personally, I can't wait to get this thing started; there are alot of really interesting looking characters, and it looks to be very promising indeed.

Arethan has only been used in the timeline to a very little degree.

I really look forward to RPing him as a person more in this RP.

Besides Jerod, you have a pretty good roster.

Remember, if my character dies, I have about 3 more handy :P

Urgh, Jade bores the socks off of me, she seems like a massive stereotype. Seen a fair few characters in exactly the same mould (Down to the name and the tight pants, and the 'good streak'). :P But I know DarkNova is awesome enough to make her seem great anyway.

Ack... there are like, tons of people joining now. :/ I may wait to join until the second or third thread. I'll wait for you to get all your introductions done, and then jump in and mess up whatever you're doing. :D

The only reason I added the tight pants is becuase it seemed more realistic for her to wear a more form fitting outfit when trying to sneak about. Believe me when I say I have no intention of having her strut about in leather pants on any regular basis. As for the name and the 'good' streak...well, I happen to like the name, and I'm trying to add a sprinkle of Humanity to an admittedly overused archetype.

I appreciate your confidence, though, IN. Hopefully, you'll come to like the character.

And I think you should join in the first thread; it'll be grand. All the clumsy introductions and such...

Of course, your choice.

Illusionary thinks Jade is boring? I thought the complete opposite. :P

My sheet is almost done, but I'd like to apologize in advance to DarkNova. From looking at my sheet, I've noticed that my character is quite similar to Lance; I didn't copy you or anything, and I've had the character idea in mind for a while. Just an unfortunate coincidence, I guess? :shrug

I don't want to control the RP but I think the sign ups should be shut down soon. With this amount of people, it's gonna start off faster than Usain Bolt on speed.

Finally, my sheet is done! Sorry for the length, but I can't seem to help it :/. Anyway, I hope it makes sense; please tell me if it doesn't. :)

Name: Robert Veric
Nickname: Robert
Race: Breton
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Birthsign: The Steed

Class: Farmer/ Field Worker
Class Description: As a farmer and field worker, Robert has had to work very hard throughout his life. He is used to boiling heat and rough jobs, and has developed rough hands and strong arms due to them. On a more mental side, Robert has learnt to always keep at a job no matter what, and developed a hardy resistance against mundane tasks whilst also gaining patience.

Alongside that, Robert would occasionally train his swordsmanship. However, his skills are nothing special and the training was more of a hobby to stop becoming bored to death.

Despite the living in a trading village, Robert has never dealt with the merchants and keeps strictly to the fields.

Skills: Hand-to-Hand, Loyalty, Short Blade (I use that loosely), Un-armoured.

Robert's 'skills' generally lay outside of the combat department. He is one of the most determined people you will ever meet as always wants to get the job done. Also, he's a very friendly chap, never looking for fights or arguments, but making new friends.

Nevertheless, Robert is not completely useless in combat- his father taught him how to box (fist fight) from a young age and Veric still remembers the techniques. Of course, he refrains from using it as much as he can.

Weaknesses: Robert's main weakness physically is his inability to fight properly (except from his boxing moves) against anything remotely tough. He is quite strong and has a lot of willpower but couldn't hit a tree with a sword that's two feet in front of him.

What makes this worse is Robert's optimism for almost anything. It is both a strength and a weakness but he seriously believes it would be possible for him to kill a minotaur if he 'tried his very best'. It may boost the morale of those around him, but it'll likely end in his death one day.

The optimism factor could possible be categorized under Robert's other weakness: his general stupidity. Calling him stupid may seem a little blunt or harsh, but he is rather mentally challenged. He can't read or write, it's difficult for him to make a decision on anything, and he just doesn't think about his actions. He isn't a bumbling idiot who can't even speak coherently, but he isn't exactly clever, either.

Another weakness Robert has if his thin patience for other people. Yes, he can tolerate nearly any manual job, but simply cannot stand narrow-minded, arrogant and selfish people; ironically calling them idiots. If someone says something that he believes is out of line then they will likely get a piece of Robert's mind. He just wants everyone to get along.

Weapons: As a grower of crops and puller of weeds, Robert sees little use for weapons. Nonetheless, living in the harsh rural areas of Cyrodiil provokes the need for arms.

Robert's primary weapon is his rough and robust fists- boxing is the only combat he knows and if he were ever to get in a brawl, he'd hope to only knock the enemy out with the minimal amount of injury possible.

However, if his fists ever get too tired or dire situations occur, Robert will use the old iron shortsword he keeps clipped to his pants. The blade is probably almost worthless: it's got dents everywhere, it's heavy at the hilt and light at the actual blade making for awkward swings. Alongside that, the edges are also quite blunt, despite seldom used.

Armour/Clothing: Robert does not don any armour; he likely would not be able to afford it, probably would be no good in it and due to the sweltering heat his village gets, it'd be more than uncomfortable. Although, he does have a leather torso, but yet again, it's rarely ever worn; he simply sees no use for it.

Obviously, Robert only ever wears loose, thin and dirty rags. His shirt is nothing but a stitched-up green vest, revealing very hairy arms. The same with shorts: they're stitched together with a few holes here and there. His shoes are heavy (and usually sweat filled) clogs, making work on the fields more than uncomfortable.

To stop his hands from being riddled with cuts and scars, Robert wears thick leather gloves when out on the fields; probably the only protection he uses.

Sometimes, during the colder seasons or when he needs to make a short journey away for the village, Robert will throw on his travelling cloak: it's a simple brown, baggy cape with a hood.

Equipment: Robert always keeps a small pack on a strap on his side. It contains a bottle of water (as well as drinking the liquid, he was an odd habit of chewing on the lid; it helps him concentrate, for some reason), a mere five septims and usually some fruit.

Not much, but that's all he can really afford to have.

Spells: Does not use magic. It'd be impossible for him to learn anyway.

Physical Description: Surprisingly, Robert is actually quite a good-looking fellow: his cheekbones are high, he's got a well-shaped nose, his lips aren't too fat or too thin and his facial features in general are in good proportion. The only odd thing is that he has a lazy left eye, there is no known reason for this and people have just assumed it's natural.

Despite his good-looking face (except for the lazy eye, of course), Robert's face does seem a little withered and worn in certain areas. There aren't any scars, bruises or cuts from battle, but instead the amount of work he's done in his life has made him look a few years older than he actually is.

Due to the labouring under the scorching Magnus, Robert has developed quite a nice looking tan. However, he doesn't often to protect his body from the sun (even though he has a cloak) and has sunburns on the different areas of his body. Alongside that, he is naturally flushed and has quite red cheeks.

Robert is quite small in height but is relatively stocky. His arms are thick and very well muscled- his biceps and triceps clearly bulge and when he's working hard enough, his veins will begin to show through his skin. However, because Robert doesn't get much food he's a bit thinner in his stomach, with barely any fat on him. Veric has to move around a lot, too, making his legs quite powerful. Nevertheless, with exercise and hard work comes bad consequences; in this case, it's back problems. It isn't much of a bother yet, but give it five years and too much work would cause Robert much pain.

Robert's hair is a short buzz cut; he doesn't want to get hot, of course. Anything more than this Robert deems uncomfortable and dirty, even though he looks messy anyway. Plus, his hair greases easily, and that's not good when you have long hair. Also, Veric keeps faint beard stubble on his face- simply feeling it looks good. More of a personal opinion than anything.

Height: 5'8''
Weight: 155 lbs
Hair colour: Very light brown. Could be considered blonde but it's hard to tell with his hair being so short.
Eye colour: Blue

Personality: As mentioned throughout the sheet, Robert is generally a very friendly man; always wanting new friends to socialize with. To make things better, he is utterly selfless and is much more concerned with the well being of others instead of him. Robert is not the arrogant type, either, mainly due to the fact he hates the cocky and brash people of Cyrodiil- that is to say, a lot of them. However, that is not to say Robert is completely modest and shy: he does have confidence but he uses it to motivate him when working, not to boast of his achievements (not that there are many).

Robert believes that all races are equal, and that an Imperial noble is no more important than an Argonian beggar, just more fortunate. This may seem like a rather vague and narrow-minded point of view (which he actually hates) but it simply because of his upbringing and his life in general; he has been poor ever since birth, but that has never put him down or stopped him from working, only encouraged. He believes that the rich just got lucky.

As I've already explained, Robert is very loyal to his friends, family and work. He will not give up until it kills him; he has an iron-thick skin, to say the least. Some people say that he's too hardworking and needs to rest, but that just won't work.
Although he likes most people, there is a select caste that Robert simply cannot stand: the rich and lazy. He truly believes that everyone should have to work hard for a living, not just live off inheritance or get lucky with certain jobs. Maybe he acts a little bitter because he's worked for almost nothing, but he still sees it as unfair.

Bio: Robert's overall life could be called unspectacular at best. However, believe it or not, Veric was actually born a city boy. His mother and father raised him in the Imperial City up until he was two. Sadly, Pierre (Robert's dad) could not afford the house they were living in, and the family was evicted and pretty much forced to leave the city (Pierre didn't want to live anywhere else in the Imperial City, seeing the other districts as 'dangerous'). Almost certainly this is the reason why the Verics hate the rich city folk.

The family travelled the harsh wilderness with what little supplies they had until they stumbled upon a small trading village by a river (thankfully, there were no threats during their journey). Pierre made negotiations with the town's 'mayor' to let them live there; seeing as the village's population was so sparse and there were a few shacks free, the mayor saw nothing against it and let them live, as long they'd do their work on the farms. It was the beginning of Robert's life.

The family didn't have the intelligence, time or facilities to help Robert learn to read or write, so he was forced to do menial (yet tiring) tasks from a very young age- filling up buckets of water and the like. It could be considered cruelty to children to put someone of Robert's age through such physically draining jobs but instead Rob considered this a good thing, and is what developed his strong willpower and strength.

Pierre Veric started teaching Robert the arts of boxing at about 9 years old, hoping it would give the boy more physical strength for the jobs but also teach him how to keep calm in difficult situations (which is key in boxing) and to provide a hobby. The training was vigorous but both Pierre and Robert knew it was for greater good. Once again, some might have seen this as cruel but Pierre truly did believe, in his heart, that this was something that the two both loved doing, and really helped father and son bond.

By about 16, Robert was undoubtedly the most hard-working person in the village, despite his age. He was tough as any kid with his fists too (and probably the strongest) but still couldn't handle a weapon to save his life. Still, except from the legion guard who'd often stay around the village for its protection, Robert was probably the best fighter and if there were any problems with raids or creatures nearby, it'd likely be down to him and the guard.

The same routine is still going on, and there really hasn't been any adventure in his life what so ever. The only excitement is when a mudcrab scuttles its way towards the village, only to be picked off moments later. However, Robert did gain a family dog from working out in the fields; it made its way to the village one sunny day looking tired, beaten, and malnourished. At first, the townsfolk saw it as a lone wolf and wanted to kill it, but Robert pleaded to let it live if he promised to look after it. Because it wouldn't be their responsibility, the village people let him keep the dog. Due to Rob's lack of intelligence, he couldn't think of a better name than 'Dog'. Dog is probably around 10 years old now.

Now Robert is 35 years old, and starting to age a little. Believe it or not, he's also getting bored of the mundane tasks, and wants to live a proper life before dying. He will deal with his jobs for now, but doesn't want to stay in the little river village forever.

Miscellaneous:
*- Has no problem eating any food, as long as it fills him up.
*- Despite being academically challenged, he actually speaks in a very clear diction.
*- Sweats profusely, it's almost like ten gallons of water have been thrown on him, when the day is hot.
*- The only scar he has is on his right hand; it got cut when he was boxing at a young age.
*- For some odd reason, he just hates to sleep. It's mostly due to the fact he hates doing nothing and because he sweats a lot, lying in a bed can become uncomfortable.

Haha. I dont think the Nine is really a 'spot light' sort of spot. ok maybe it is but it adds allot of complication. Beign 'chosen ones' everyone would expect them to 'take care of this or that' and be able to do those feats that everyone thinks heroes do.

And to add I think theres allot of personality diversity here. From the friendly yet shielded people to the complete extroverts (I think thats a good term to use?) To the down right annoying. So I'd love to see how this pans out.

Bwahh! You people and your relentless posting. I have friends over one night, don't check it, and BOOM. 3 more pages appear out of nowhere. Don't think me as rude; but I am not going to be able to read all that. I just skimmed it, and since the bulk of it was char sheets, I don't think I am going to go back.

When the RP starts, I might take a look at the Char Sheets, but you knoes.

Oh, and nice to see you back Illusionary. Haven't RP'd with you much, but everyone has been like: 'OH NOES WEHRE DID ILUSUNARY GO!!!!!111". Not literally of course, but you understand the point.

This also has a bunch-load of people, which means it is (1) Going to last a long time; (2) Going to be good.

Can't wait to start.

Not really, and Sibera, I don't really mind whatever Jerrod decides. I'm just saying so in case he's got problems he won't have to make my char fit into some grand start up scheme of his, I can meld in on my own.
