Name: Inwold "Red" Croix
Race: Breton
Age:
19
Gender: Male
Class: Rogue

Physical Description:
Red is average, maybe a tiny bit shorter. He is a more acrobatic person than a stocky, in-your-face one. He has a somewhat-toned body. He has cool brown hair; which is rarely tended to, and grows naturally. He has light blue eyes, which blend in with his somewhat-pale complexion. He does not have any facial hair, as rarely any Bretons do. He is slender, not big-boned; and is more flexible then strong.

Fighting Style:
Although Red is but an adept fighter, he relies more on speed then brute strength. His number one rule to fighting: "Use your enviroment" applies to him almost 100% of the time. He can be seen climbing up trees to escape attackers, kicking up dirt to blind the enemy, and even throwing a rock at an enemy. Also, Red is a more technical fighter. He focuses on disarming his opponent with his dual hook swords. He has yet to master the weapon, leading to mess-ups, and dropping of his weapon. Followed by a scar, or the loss of an ear.

Major Skill: Creative Problem Solving; Logical Reasoning
Other Skills: Red weilds the uncanny ability to communicate with nature, specifically his pet, Magnus. He also has a great athletic and acrobatic ability, a somewhat-reliable fighting skill, and can run pretty fast. Can be brave, and always stands up for what he believes is right. Also, due to his grandfather's profession, he has a little knowledge of Ayelid History and their Language.
What He's Bad At: Cooking, cleaning, anything like that. He hates to read, hates to write, hates to learn. Cannot paint, cannot sing, cannot produce any art whatsoever. He is also bad at menial tasks, such as keeping an eye on something, and cannot stay still for long periods of time.

Weapon: Dual Hook Swords; http://www.superiormartialarts.com/images12/W056%5B1%5D.jpg
Armor: Whatever he is wearing at the time.
Clothing: Usually a Green Shirt and Hunstman Pants, covered up with a gray cloak.

Personality: Proud. That's the main word to describe him. He will stand up for something he belives in, and he will stand up for his friends. Almost never gives up, and always makes sure he is a team player. To him, friends are the most important thing in the world, next to his pet, Magnus.

History: Red grew up in Chorrol, earning the nickname 'Red' because of the bright red clothes he wore when he was a child. His father was a blacksmith, his mother was a priest. Pretty much an uneventful life; his father had crafted Red's hook swords, and he had been practicing them ever since. His grandparents were historians of the Ayelid, and Red always hated going over there. It always meant another lecture on 'How the Ayelids crafted the world we live in today' blah-blah-blah.

Red had a close group of friends, but they split up at 13 when most of them went into apprenticeship. Red, himself, went into an apprenticeship with a Bosmer, who always talked about nature. Red, which is unlike him, found nature fascinating, and learned to communicate with some of it. When he was 17, he crossed upon a Lynx which had attacked him out of fear. Red, not wishing to cause harm, tried to calm it down. The Lynx, transfixed, began to study Red. The Lynx followed the Breton home, and stayed outside his house the following night.

Red was not eager to make a friend out of a Lynx, but after it had followed him around for three days, they finally started to communicate. Through this, Red's skill had improved beyond that of his master, and was able to talk to his pet. He named it after Magnus, and the two had been traveling ever since.

Companions: http://www.jeffrichphoto.com/images/mammals/lynx%20young%20walking%20on%20snow.jpg, a four year old Lynx that is Red's best friend. -see bio for more info-

So, so far we have someone with acute senses, someone who can track superbly and someone who can communicate with nature.

Good good good. Also, I added a few things to my CS.

Character sheet:

Name: Indoril Baledar
Race: Dunmer
Gender: Male
Age: 124 (looks 50)
Birthsign: The Warrior

Class: Ex-Orditanor
Class Description: Ordinators are the peace-keepers of the Tribunal Temple, skilled at mace battles and discriminating against outlanders. An ex-Ordinator is one who is still skilled at maces and discrimination, but no longer doing it in the name of the Tribunal.

Personality: Baledar is primarily a mer who prizes order above all else. He is gruff and hard-edged, but level-headed: the classic career guardsman. He doesn't hold much store in demonstrating emotion, and, while he respects scholars and other "thinkers," he sees more use in approaching things practically. Experience has worn him into a mild complacency with all but the oddest of occurrences, giving him excellent coping skills.

However, Baledar is prone to "moods." These are periods of severe depression and violence. He can occasionally be dangerous if provoked while in a "mood", but he usually just does a lot of shouting and morbid thinking.

He has a "traditional" view of the beast races: he won't intentionally harass a Khajiit or Argonian, but he is often unintentionally insulting. Any other xenophobia he might have had has relaxed, now that he's wandered around a bit.

Skills: Baledar's strength is his sheer experience. He's fought crime lords, Daedra worshippers, Blight beasts, rogue Telvanni, House Dagoth, Dwemer centurions, Skyrim invaders, and many others, all of which have given him a good grasp on tactics. His years as a guard have also given him a steady, patient approach to other people. He is highly aware of social codes and dislikes discord among his unit, which means that he is a skilled, if unenthusiastic, diplomat.
Minor Skills: He has minor skill in Restoration magic. He is also passing decent at armor and weapon repair. He has training in investigation, but is not particularly good at it.
Weaknesses: Although he hates to admit it, Baledar has been steadily losing his endurance over the last few years. He compensates by training rigorously to keep his strength up, and riding a guar during long journeys. He's also somewhat mentally unstable; when he loses his head, he loses it completely.
Hobbies: Baledar used to spend his free time studying the Tribunal scripts, and he did so with a single-minded devotion. In the years since his break from the Order, he has started exploring and star-gazing, as he thinks he might find his answers there.

General Appearance: Baledar is not tall, but is thick and solid. He's lost some muscle mass in the past decade, but not enough that a mace blow from him won't still crush your skull. His face is weathered and finely lined, and he usually wears a neutral expression.
Hair/eyes: His hair used to be black, but is now heavily streaked with grey. He keeps it tied back in a warrior's knot behind his head with a strip of leather. His eyes are standard Dunmer red.
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 185
Scars/tattoos: Baledar has many scars, most from his younger days (before he learned to heal himself). The most obvious is a jagged mark from his right jaw near his ear, across his throat, to his left collarbone, where a cliff racer once nearly tore his throat out. He also has a dagger knick on his left cheekbone, and claw mark along his hairline on his forehead.

Clothing/armor: He wears a worn set of http://members.shaw.ca/rado907/armor/medium/mor-indorilarmor.jpg, except for the helmet (he "lost" the helmet during one of his moods, in which he pitched the thing into a river). The armor has obviously seen a lot of use, but he refuses to stop repairing it and trade it in for a new set. He also has an Indoril shield, which he keeps strapped to his saddlebags when not in combat.
Weapon(s): His primary weapon is his ebony mace, usually worn slung across his back. He also keeps a serrated steel knife at his hip, but is not particularly proficient with it.
Inventory: In his saddlebags, Baledar has travel supplies: an army quality tent, collapsible wood stool, bedroll, two torches, 4 repair hammers, flint, a week's worth of food, and about 300 gold.

Other miscellaneous info:
He has a guar named Chim. Chim is outfitted with a saddle for long journeys, and all of Baledar's worldly possessions are in its saddlebags.

History: For the first century of his life, Baledar was a proud and devoted member of the Ordinator Order of the Watch. He has spent a stint patrolling the streets of every major city and religious site in Morrowind, and has a story or two from most of them. He was a model Indoril, living off his faith and his fighting skill, keeping the Temple dictates, and reluctantly submitting to Imperial rule.

Then, the Nerevarine docked in Vvardenfell and ruined everything. Baledar was transferred to Vivec during the height of the Sixth House incident (one of his stories includes chasing the Nerevarine through the city with a contingent of other Ordinators), and so saw some of what happened to Vvardenfell first-hand. When the three Tribunal gods disappeared, Baledar was one of those that stayed with the Order, denying with the rest of the Temple that anything was wrong.

During the Oblivion Crisis, Baledar was in Mournhold, defending the holy city from the Daedric hoards. After that, he remained in Mournhold, staying close to the dwindling Temple.

Then, five years ago, he and a contingent of other Ordinators went down into the depths of Mournhold to investigate a Dwemer-related disturbance, and stumbled upon the Temple's cover-up operation of Sotha Sil's and Almalexia's deaths. This finally proved to the hard-nosed guard without a doubt that the gods had been mortal, and were now dead. In a matter of days, he'd uncovered the full truth of the matter, and was forced to resign from the Order when, in a fit of violence, he tried to take a mace to a priest's head.

Now, he's left Morrowind and started wandering around Tamriel, without guidance from either Temple or law. Since his House doesn't have much by way of funds, he's living off what he managed to save up for retirement... and there's not much left. He's divorced himself from the troubles of his home province, and given up trying to keep order. Instead, he's searching for something to fill the void of what he lost when the gods died.

Hmm...looks like an interesting concept, Jerod. If you're still looking for more people, and willing to put up with my incessant babbling, I'd be willing to give it a try.

I also noticed you're trying to prevent redundancy in the character's main skills. If you're looking for specific types of characters, let me know. I have a character from a previous RP who specializes in hand-to-hand combat, if it hasn't already been taken.

I don't think hand-to-hand has been taken, but I was actually going to make a character that specializes in it.

It isn't a big deal though; my character for this is pretty much a peasant so they won't be identical or anything. :)

So long as you're sure; I'd hate to see any toes stepped on. Worst comes to worst, I suppose I could always make a stealthier, dare I say, 'assassin-esque' character. I didn't see any of those, right?

I really want to join this. :) I think I'll even have enough time. :) If there's enough room for me once started, I'd be happy to join. :) I don't even have to fill one of the 'Nine', I can just be an extra. One of the Nine's apprentices or something.

Hey, Illusionary! Good to see you again.

My character (which some may recognize):

Name: Wrothgar the Cautious
Age: 54
Gender: male
Race: Nord

Skills: heavy armor, blunt weapon, armorer, block, speechcraft, alchemy, hand to hand

General Appearance: strong, tall, muscular. Used to be the cream of Skyrim's fighting force, but his age has taken away some of the fitness; still an able fighter. His skin is worn by the long life of living outdoors, fighting for survival. His body is full of scars, but his face is without them.

Personality: unlike most Nords, Wrothgar is somewhat of a legend among his kin since he marches into battle with his wits collected and calm. Capable of great concentration, he is not fooled easily. Like most warrior races of Tamriel, he considers dying with personal dignity and honor more important than living without them. Feeling fear will shame him, therefore he will go to great efforts to cleanse himself of that shame with even more heroic efforts. Respects equal and stronger warriors than himself, despises cowards, protects the weak (if he has a good reason). Kind to children, respectful to women. Strangely for a Nord, he dislikes strong liquor as it makes his mind clouded. He has had many lovers but has never married and fathered no children (not to his knowledge). He likes to lead men, but only to a certain number; he is not interested in becoming a general.

Clothing: he dresses plainly but warmly. No point in dressing in rags. A brown cloak with a hood to protect him from cold and rain.

Armor: uses a full Dwemer armor with shield, reconstructed and polished by his own hands.

Weapons: a great two-handed silver waraxe on his back, steel longsword on his hip and a glass dagger strapped to his leg.

Miscellaneous: like most warriors, he distrusts magic and those that wield it.

Biography: born to a fierce warrior tribe in Skyrim. When he was a child, his tribe was attacked by a neighbouring tribe. He was one of the few that survived. He fled from Skyrim, came to Cyrodiil, joined the Fighters Guild, where he achieved the rank of platoon leader, meaning he was the officer in charge of a single operation. During the Invasion he was the head of the Fighter's Guild defence in Bruma. As the Invasion ended, he decided to retire and live off his savings. His days of being a mercenary and a warrior were done. Or so he thought...

:D You're a big reason I wanna join; haven't seen you RPing much of late. Not that the RP itself isn't also awesome.

I'll come up with a sheet, Jerod. :)

NOTE: Alakata's character sounds brilliant. Not seen many orcs around, and certainly not orc females.

EDIT: Might turn up with Zanna. Not managed to get her into a successful RP in a while, and she contrasts nicely with the characters already here. Was gonna bring Dark-Feather, but she seemed a little obsolete with such good trackers.

Name: Susanna Renette

Nickname: Zanna

Race: Breton

Gender: Female

Age: 20

Birthsign: The Apprentice

Class: Inventor

Physical description: Zanna is a pale, unathletic, bookish-looking girl with a heart-shaped face, pointy chin, thin nose, nervous eyes and friendly smile. Her eyes are large sickly green orbs full of innocence and inquisitiveness, and her body is like an energy explosion waiting to happen. Her hair is thick rose-blonde, extremely tangled and worn loose. Her build is curvy, having not lost them to a warrior's way of life.

About the character: There are few spells that are safe from Susanna Renette's experimental hands. What is peculiar about Zanna is how she applies them- Zanna deals mostly in close-range and touch spells, though she can make the effects pretty large or minute. As a grandmaster enchanter, you'd think Zanna would get a lot of interest, but as it is her great skill is kept a secret. She is an amazing inventor and is fantastic in her knowledge of history and ancient magical spells. She is also obsessed with Ayleids and Dwemer in particular. Though highly skilled, being an inventor is highly experimental, and thus most of her projects fail- and fail spectacularly. As Zanna has devoted all of her time to magic, she is completely skilless in other areas- something she doesn't seem to mind at all.

Zanna is more than a bit of an oddball, but there is a great emotional depth to her, and a deep thoughtfulness. She is desperate for acceptance, but is suspicious of any true signs of friendship. She will attach herself to those who are nice to her. She appears quite child-like and free in her joy, but old and cynical when depressed or left alone with her thoughts for too long. She is very shy, and greatly values time on her own, but hates to be excluded.

Weapons: Zanna carries a glass dagger.

Armor/Clothing: Zanna wears a blue-and-green plaid shirt with a brown bodice over the top. She also wears a long tan skirt and green velvet shoes. Atop her head sits a pair of enchanted dwemer goggles and she often wears a brown cloak when travelling.

Short History: Zanna is an inventor, and thus was often discredited at school. Apprenticed to the Arcane University, she was bullied young for her eccentric nature and bizarre magical theories, and for her many failures. Since then, she has advanced to the rank of Wizard in the guild, and has been shunted from chapter to chapter, nobody wanting to keep her long as explosions and disasters seem to follow her wherever she goes.

The guy's not really proficient at much besides gentlemanliness, but I do hope I'm not stepping on someone's lawn. There are a few other characters I've been considering for this RP too, so anyone whose role I may have taken should feel free to inform me.

Name: Felton de Iberville

Race: Breton (Anticlerian)

Gender: Male

Age: 38

Birthsign: The Steed

Physical description: Five feet seven inches tall, Felton could hardly be identified as a Breton from the first glance. His skin is tan, almost comparable to that of a Ra Gada; however, if his skin color is similar, then his face certainly isn't, as it still bears the somewhat stereotypical features of a Breton ? a small, snub nose, thin lips and most notably piercing light blue eyes, which don't seem to fit in with his skin color. His hair, too, suggest a Breton, being dark brown and around mid-neck length.

Felton is slim, and seemingly weak, however his arms possess wiry strength that could be considered a hidden asset against inexperienced opponents that wouldn't expect a man of his build to be about as strong as your average Ra Gada, and about as fast too.

Short History: Born in Anticlere, High Rock. Felton's mother died giving birth while his father was killed accidentally during some minor riot. The boy then was taken in, out of pity, by the Legionnaire who let loose the bolt accidentally. As the man was assigned to another post, Felton travelled with him, and eventually he and his adoptive father ended up in Morrowind. There, however, when Felton was around sixteen, the Legionnaire was killed in a skirmish with some bandits, leaving the Breton out on his own. Eventually, Felton came to the attention of the Morag Tong, and ended up becoming a part of it after some of the higher-ups decided something good may come out of him. Currently, however, he is on a 'vacation' of sorts, using some of his accumulated wealth (not really all that much, but more than enough for someone of his standing) to travel Cyrodiil. Needless to say, he's already determined the timing wasn't that great on his part.

About the character: Felton is an odd individual. He is somewhat skilled in infiltration, being a Morag Tong Thinker, and the fact he's definately not the sort to look like he could start throwing daggers your way helps his disguise somewhat. He's not been excessively taught with the sword; however the weapon feels natural to him and that, along with his past field experiences, somewhat makes up for his lack of training, marking him as at least an average swordsman. A part of his success as a fighter would come from the fact he's extremely cautious ? rarely will he take on more than one opponent, and even in a duel he'll stick to defending for as long as possible, usually choosing not to strike until he's sure his blow will land, and land decisively. This can hamper him sometimes, as he can be indecisive during fights.

This attitude carries on to other aspects of his life, too ? Felton usually tries not to stand out too much, rarely speaking out his mind, even when he'd benefit from doing so. He avoids arguments with utmost caution, something that, along with his gentle behavior, random bouts of melancholy over the weirdest matters and sometimes seemingly na?ve outlook on some matters, led to others sometimes dubbing him a fool and a coward; however, no mistake should be made, as he doesn't usually hesitate sacrificing his beliefs if he feels the need to. Alcoholism can be a problem on such occasions, though, as even though he usually restrains himself on that matter somewhat, if he feels wronged by someone else or by himself, he'll drink it away instead of speaking out.

Weapons: A Bretic http://images.channeladvisor.com/Sell/SSProfiles/13000332/Images/5/LP-5918_2.jpg

Armor/Clothing: Felton wears a mixture of various styles of clothes from all over Tamriel which, despite being from different cultures, seem to flow together rather neatly, at least enough for him to seem rather elegant, although that may be more the fault of the way Felton carries himself. He wears nearly knee-high tough dark brown leather boots with several metal plates sewn onto them for some protection. At the top the boots are a bit covered up by his puffed light grey pants that reach only slightly below his knees; in design, they are similar to those Ra Gada wear in Hammerfell. The pants are held in place by a wide black leather belt with a suitably large silver clasp. His white shirt is stuffed beneath the belt; however that is obscured from view most of the time by the dark blue woolen coat Felton wears, which is very similar to Imperial Navy coats. The coat seems to have belonged to a person of much better social standing before, judging by the silver buttons and trimming; it goes down to nearly mid-thighs and generally seems a slight bit too large for Felton. Beneath it is a white silken scarf, a bit 'webby' in its design, looking rather Dunmer due to this. The outfit is finished up with a large black hat, decorated with brown cliff racer plumes.

Misc. Items: A small silver coin with which Felton often plays when bored.

Thank you, Illusionary :D I was aiming for unusual with her; I'm very glad someone likes her! I'm interested to see how she'll get along with Zanna :)

Sorry for the wall of text, particularly her history... I kinda got carried away writing this!

Name: Thalia Aurmine
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Race: Orc

Appearance: She is tall and thin, and lacks the muscles that most of her race possess. Strong enough from walking, running and climbing for many years, she hasn't had the intensive training that comes with wielding a weapon and it shows. Her hair is long and dark, and thin enough to be really annoying. She generally keeps it tied back in a ponytail tied with a leather band. Her eyes are her best feature, a dark forest green she inherited straight from her father. They're drowned out by her skin, however, which is a brighter shade of green and really quite noticable. Her face is lumpy. No two ways about it - it looks more or less like someone's taken an axe to it. Repeatedly. Unfortunately for Thalia, her parents genes combined in more or less the worst possible combination they could have, appearance-wise. Her teeth are longer and sharper than your average human's, but she missed out on the full-blown tusks that most full orcs have. Her smiles look unnatural. She's just not good at them. She has a thin scar across her throat where the bandit who was accosting her held his dagger to her throat, which she refused to have healed as a sign of her failure, but no others; she's mostly managed to avoid physical confrontations since that.

Personality: She's stubborn. Even though it's been twelve years since she's seen Happy, she still hasn't given up on finding him, and despite all the disparaging comments about how it's really not worth it for her to try to make herself look pretty, she still persists in wearing nice clothes and accessories. She's not deluded enough not to realise that they are lost on her, but continues to wear them because she likes them. She stopped really caring what other people thought of her when she was younger, after years of trying and being frustrated. However, as much as she likes to think she doesn't need anyone else, the fact is that she really does enjoy having someone to talk to who isn't put off with the fact that she's a half-breed from a race renowned for brutality. And green. That tends to get to people for some reason, she's noticed. She's not vain in the traditional sense, but she likes to look the best she can. She's generally cheerful, having found that moping about things doesn't make them any better, but when she is bothered by something she bottles it up. She lets everything pile up and up until she loses control of her anger - quite spectacularly.

Although she's quite used to not speaking to anyone for perhaps weeks on end outside of bartering for supplies, she's never really grown to like it. She does enjoy talking to people - the only problem is that, well, she's not much good at it. Having observed somebody for a short while, she's damn good at guessing what they'll do in a fight or if they're lying or telling half truths - but see casual small talk? She's hopeless. Blunt and undiplomatic, subtlety is lost on her. She calls a spade a spade and can't see why anyone would ever want to call it anything else. She has a knack for saying exactly the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time and often ends up dodging the weapons of someone who thought she was taunting them. She rarely realises why they attack her; it always seems like a totally reasonable thing to say. She's quite curious, too, which tends to land her in trouble, either by getting her into situations way over her head or when people don't appreciate her sticking her long green nose in their business.

Strengths: Illusion magic in general, ruthless when she does decide to fight, sensitive nonsense-o-meter (she's good at telling when people are trying to deceive her), reasonably physically fit, a good runner

Weaknesses: Charm spells (which she's never been able to get the hang of, try as she might), hates blood (especially on her clothes), quite cowardly (she'll fight only if she absolutely has to), more or less hopeless at other forms of magic, a tendency to take umbrage at slurs against her but bottle it up and then take it out on someone who's done nothing wrong, can come off as unfriendly

Clothing/Armour: She doesn't wear any armour, but has plenty of clothes. When she's travelling she favours a sensible green shirt and dark trousers, with brown walking boots and a brown fur cloak. When she's in town, however, she likes to bring out the finery: silk dresses with fine embroidery, lacy shawls and gloves, and high heel shoes. She finds the surprised, sometimes disgusted glances amusing. She likes to wear jewellery; when she was younger, she would create necklaces and bracelets out of sea shells and flowers, but now that she (sometimes) has money she likes silver and rubies the best.

Weapon/Spells: She keeps a small silver dagger with her. She uses it to finish off her opponents after she paralyses or blinds them, but only if she absolutely has to. She prefers to avoid confrontation through disabling her opponents (blind, paralysis, silence or sound) or by turning invisible (invisibility or chameleon) and then running quickly in the opposite direction. On the rare occasions when she actually wants to fight, she's a dab hand with the frenzy spells.

Other belongings: She keeps several coloured leather bands, so that she always has one that matches the outfit she's wearing. She has several books on illusion magics, her research notes on Happy's condition, and a travelling pack with a strong feather enchantment that she paid through the nose for. Not really a belonging, but she likes to conjure up globes of coloured light and toss them about when she's bored.

History: Born from a somewhat less than willing union between an Altmer mage with a thing for Orcs and an Orcish mother who had indulged in a little too much brandy, Thalia Aurmine was not born under the most auspicious of circumstances. Her mother, a wandering adventurer with a taste for trouble, was hardly happy with this turn of events but picked herself up with characteristic stoicism and moved on with her life. Worse things happen at sea, after all.

Of course, a couple of months later Shad gra-Malag realised she was pregnant. Despite having absolutely no experience with children whatsoever, and in fact generally despising the irritating little things, she decided that the poor kid probably deserved a chance at life. She honestly intended to raise it, she did, but found the constant mewling for food to be far too annoying to put up with and dumped it on the doorstep of some house in some backwater little village and never looked back.

Being generally decent if somewhat xenophobic folks, once they found her the Bretons of Ravenwood allowed her stay, and raised her with a mostly fair if wary hand. They fed her (although with a bottle, at first; who knew what their own children could catch if they shared milk with her? She was green!) and clothed her and taught her to read and write, just like they taught all the other children. She was not trusted, however, and that attitude quickly rubbed off on the other children, who decided it was their gods-given duty to get rid of the green freak. She spend much of her childhood running away from them, or in solitude. Although some of the other children did try to befriend her, none of them lasted and so her best friend growing up was her pet rock, Happy.

A soul gem infused with the soul of an old Dunmer mage, he had apparently provoked a political rival a little too far and had been trapped in the gem for over a hundred years. He'd devised a way of projecting his magic so that he could speak despite being trapped, after many years of trying. He had a name, but she'd never bothered to learn it: it was way too long. She toyed with the idea of calling him 'Grumpy' for a while, given that that was what he was, but decided on 'Happy' because it annoyed him far more.

Given hope for being free after all these years of being trapped, Happy eagerly tried to teach her mysticism magic in the hopes that she would be the one to do it. To his dismay, however, Thalia proved to be more-or-less useless at it. And at destruction magics. And alteration, and conjuration, and enchantment... The only thing she seemed to be able to do was illusionary magic, so he taught her what little he knew of that and was surprised by how good at it she was. Eventually he ran out of things to teach her about it, however, and they decided to leave the village. Thalia thanked the villagers for their care (and couldn't resist a little revenge on those who had bullied her; sound was such a wonderfully nasty little spell) and they left the village, never to return. They travelled about for several years, looking for information on a cure and learning both new illusion techniques and about the world in general, but then disaster struck: Thalia was attacked by bandits and lost. Everything was stolen, including Happy. She managed to replace most of the things she lost but has since dedicated her life to finding Happy again.

Are we allowed two characters? I'm feeling greedy, but I understand if that's a big ask.

I AM still wanting to join this but am currently at my girlfriends so dont have access to my character sheets but ill relay as much info as i can recall.
and here are 4 of my candidates for characters, i dont really mind which one i play as, and as i havnt decided i thought id see if anyone had any favorites.

Warrior candidate

Name: Vistha
Age: 32
Race: Argonian
Gender: Male

Height: 7ft 1 (but will reduce if you think its too tall)
Eye Colour: Small beady eyes that appear red with a golden rim.
Hair: None.
Skin: Dark muddy tan with a lighter underside.

Appearance: http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t244/klown-korpse/My%20Art/Omo.jpg

Skills: Blade, Blunt, Handtohand, Heavy Armor, Patience.

Weapons: Fists our anything he finds that he can pick up and use, eg. tree branch, discarded weapons, rocks.

Armor: Steel plate greaves and large bracers.

Clothing: none.

Personality: Slow and hard to provoke, takes his time with everything including moving, thinking and talking. Has a clear mind.

Background: (this will need some revision because previously i stated that his size was due to vast amounts of Hist intake throughout his life thus acting like steroids, but ive since changed my mind so his past will need to be re-written)

And if I am allowed I would like to include his partner in this but wont push it if you say no as she wasn't originally designed for TES lore, and so isn't truly an argonian, more a reptile woman.. but ill let you decide.

Name: Ake
Age: 29
Race: Argonian (ish)
Gender: Female.

Height: 5ft 11
Eye Colour: Deep red like a dunmer.
Hair: Long straight, sort of muddy red colour.
Skin: Dark emerald green scales.

Appearance: http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t244/klown-korpse/My%20Art/akecol.jpg

Skills: Restoration, Alteration, Mysticism.

Weapons: A long branch like magical stave that serves little purpose as a weapon.

Armor: None.

Clothing: A light weight possibly rather skimpy yet tasteful short brown robe.

Personality: Calm and loving, shares a bond with Vistha.

Background: (again will need to be written to coincide with Visthas.)

Magic Candidate

Name: Dirzryn
Age: 197 (appears about 30)
Race: Dunmer
Gender: Male

Height: 5ft 8
Eye Colour: Red
Hair: White, long natural with bangs.
Skin: Dark ashen color, almost indigo.

Appearance: http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t244/klown-korpse/nobledirzryn.jpg Under his cloths he has many symbols tattooed into the left side of his body and arm. He also has one under his left eye (shown in pic.)

Skills: All forms of magic.

Weapons: None.

Armor: one dark leather bracer on his left forearm.

Clothing: Smart simple looking suit with high neckline and pants tucked into a pair of smart looking cloth boots. All in black.

Personality: Has a very strong will and mind, always thinking of how to break to laws of reality. Open-minded and imaginative, his goal is to push magic to its limit. At work he is a tyrant daemon of sorcery. Usually calm but when pushed will snap like a whip, punishment for any who step out of line is frightening and severe. Is frustrated at his life. Is easily wound up by cocky people.

Background: Has experienced life within both the Telvanni and the Mages guild but found that both were not for him. He wandered around for decades alone trying to unravel magic and find new uses for it, and avoiding civilization. He long abandoned the thought of magick being split into different 'schools' and sees it now as one power manipulated in different forms. After about half a century of exploring morrowind until it no longer interested his studies, he set off to Cyrodiil. He has since become more civilized but still steers clear of others if it can be helped but realises that in Cyrodiil sometimes having contacts is a necessity.

Ranged Candidate

Name: Vhirk
Age: 78 (appears 19)
Race: Dunmer
Gender: Male

Height: 5ft 6
Eye Colour: Red
Hair: White medium spiked style.
Skin: Ashen with a purple tint.

Appearance: http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq43/Ilynlor/Drowarcher.jpg

Skills: Destruction, Alteration, Mysticism, Marksman.

Weapons: An enchanted bow that helps with his Arcane Marksman skill.

Armor: An enchanted leather bracer on his left wrist that helps temporarily 'solidify' his magic energy into arrows to fire from his bow. Thick leather boots with iron toe caps, light iron shin protectors, a leather 'skirt' that covers a few potions that hang from the back of his belt, and a lightweight steel chest peice that sits on his top.

Clothing: Loose baggy pants and a sleevless tunic with an attached hood.

Personality: Cocky and self righteous, thinks himself above all others, is only slightly less abusive to his own kind and women. Despises beast races as he believes they are lower than people.

Background: Was brought up by his adoptive father in a telvanni tower in morrowind. His father was a well known sorcerer who was experimenting in mysticism and attempting to advance the understanding of teleportation magic. Vhirk was often used as a guinea pig and sent to various places via teleportation to gather research materials for his father, and could then return via recall. When he is around his father he appears very quiet and timid, almost like a different person, and only then would one perhaps realise why he is so abusive around others.

So long as you're sure; I'd hate to see any toes stepped on. Worst comes to worst, I suppose I could always make a stealthier, dare I say, 'assassin-esque' character. I didn't see any of those, right?

Oh don't worry, I'm sure; looking at the amount of people we have here I imagine this'll be way too fast for me, anyway. :(

Out of interest, would this hand-to-hand character be Lance, from Those Remaining? I remember reading that RP- your character was cool. :D

Actually yes, I was thinking of bringing in a revamped iteration of Lance! Although, the more that I've thought about it, I'm thinking about trying out that 'assassin-esque' character. I know that their type is extremely difficult to roleplay well, especially without being ?ber, but I kind of want the challenge.

So I should have that sheet edited in within half an hour or so, and if that's no good I can bring in good ol' Lance.

Either way I look forward to seeing the character! Lance was awesome though. Wish I could of joined that RP...

And I wouldn't worry about the whole uber thing; I imagine you can handle it.

Korroded: if my opinion matters at all, I like Vhirk the best. His personality would be an interesting mix with the rest of the group, I think, and he has more clearly defined limits than some of the other characters.

(It has nothing to do with the fact that I love his picture. Nothing at all.)

heh well you would like the only picture i just dug off the internet, the first to were BADLY done by me and the third was drawn by my girlfriend, i really need to do a photoshopped version of Vhirk but then you probably wouldnt like it so much lol,and i will take your "vote" into consideration.

EDIT: yeh i thought someone might say something like that, i always did have a tendancy to make my characters "special" but i guess its coz i like to be original when possible, but i can assure you that i never roleplay my charactres as uber, there has only been one or two instances ive gone overboard and accidentally made a character of mine go insanely godlike until they get their "down there bits" ripped off.

I have to say, Korpse, your characters are really so awesome- you must have one amazing mind. But still, I just have the fear that they might be a little uber.

Obviously it's not my choice, and you've probably got a lot of experience with these characters but it still seems a bit too much, in my opinion.

Well, here goes my first bona fide attempt at an assassin.

Be gentle, guys.

Name: Jade Caelius
Race: Imperial
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Birthsign: The Shadow
Class: Hit Woman

Appearance: Jade's avoidance of any semblance of 'fair' combat has left her with virtually no signs of combat upon her body. Her form is both slim and lithe, and not overly curvy, leaving her with a rather unspectacular, and fortunately, unassuming, appearance. The fair, unblemished skin of her face appears far paler than it is when contrasted with her hair, which is a deep, onyx black, tied back in a neat ponytail. The thin features of her face are finished off with a pair of intense, wickedly green eyes.

About the character: When one's occupation is so totally reliant upon both silence and secrecy, it is hardly surprising that Jade has become rather proficient in the finer arts of stealth. Though she is adept in sneaking around obstacles and avoiding attention, she is equally inept when attempting to open any kind of lock by her own skill; she tends to rely on the use of scrolls for such tasks. Finally, she has extensive experience in the handling of short blades and daggers, preferring their use over ranged weapons.

Personality: Though often obscured beneath a facade of detached professionalism and cold hostility, there is, in reality, a harsh duality to Jade's personality. Around those she has come to trust, she can be surprisingly sociable and friendly, often becoming protective of those she comes to care about. Just as surprisingly is the meticulous brutality she shows her enemies, though this is reserved only for those who have truly earned her ire. Honour has no place in her vocabulary, and she despises entering a situation without having the upper hand.

Weapons: Her preferred weapon, Jade carries a simple steel stiletto at her hip, ideally used with some form of poison. She also carries a silver dagger, for when the situation arises. Often carries with her at least one form of quick acting poison.

Clothing: When in public, Jade keeps up with her unassuming appearance, sporting a simple, short sleeved black shirt, and a pair of brown slacks. She also wears a brown leather jacket when travelling. When on a job, she switches over to a tank top and tight leather pants.

Short History: Raised in a small village in rural Cyrodiil, Jade and her family found themselves frequently exploited by the local landlord. Driven to the point of poverty by unfair taxes and rent, when Jade's father fell ill, the landlord offered to let them stay, for the price of one night with Jade's mother. When she refused, both her parents were beaten by the landlord's thugs, and they soon found themselves homeless.

Jade quickly discovered her natural talent for killing soon after. Sneaking into the landlord's estate during the night, she managed to bypass most of the guards, and reach the master bedroom. The next day, they found the landlord, dead, his vocal cords slashed, several dozen stab wounds in his chest.

Though her family regained their property, Jade's father never did recover from his illness, and Jade went freelance in an attempt to support them. To this day, she sends back what money she can, though they remain oblivious to her real occupation.

And, for your consideration, here's Lance Cochrane as well. Haven't yet decided which of the two I'm going to use...

Name: Lance Cochrane
Nickname: Either of his names
Race: Imperial
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Birthsign: The Steed
Class: Spell Brawler

Focus: Combat
Skills: Unarmed and un-armoured fighting, athletics, acrobatics, destruction magic
Description: As opposed to simply using destruction magic by touching the enemy, Spell Brawlers use these potent spells simultaneously with punches, kicks and grapples to fight their enemies. The emphasis on this type of combat is using hit-and-run strikes, so hitting fast and hard as opposed to engaging in a long drawn out fight is preferable. As a result these warriors use neither weapons nor armour.

General Description: Lance is a tall and lean man, well toned and fairly muscular for an Imperial, but not to the point of looking like a Redguard or Nord. His expression is typically one of hopefulness and confidence, and he has a well defined jaw and face.
Hair: Thick and jet black, kept fairly short and unmastered.
Eye Colour: Dark Green
Height: 6'3''

Mental Description: Lance is an optimistic, fun loving kind of guy, with an immaturity that usually doesn't lend itself well to the situation. He has a tendency to poke fun at others, purely jokingly, and especially those who he sees as taking themselves too seriously. In times where the situation calls for it, he is capable of showing proper respect to others, although his arguably childish attitude can often still be seen coming through.

Primary Weapon: Prefers to use his fists in battle.
Secondary Weapon: Although not as often used as his fists, also uses a series of kicks and other fighting moves in battle.
Armour/Clothing Most Used: Loose, short sleeved white cotton shirt, with a brown suede jacket over top. Similarly loose black cotton pants with a simple leather belt, and comfortable leather shoes.
Inventory: Carries a few restore health potions in the pockets of his pants, and always hopes they won't end up getting smashed.

Bio: Born in the Imperial City, with an Imperial mother and a Nordic father. Having heard a story of how his father's weapon had once shattered in the middle of a fight, he began to train using unarmed fighting, while learning the arts of destruction magic from his mother. During his teens, he figured out how to use the two together, after a number of unfortunate, but never serious, mishaps. He has always managed to find a way to make ends meet, either by training others in unarmed combat, or performing some unsavoury job the local merchants couldn't find anybody else willing to do.

Ooh, KK, I like Vhirk, too. I think both his personality and his abilities would mesh well with the group. My one complaint is that... well, 78 is a bit old for someone to look 19. When I make a young elf, I usually put him at 30s and 40s. 78 is when most low-born Dunmer (the ones without an easy life or a lot of magic) begin to start showing their age. I only complain because your Dunmer "kid" is just 50 years short of my old fogey. :P

I'm liking the line-up so far. DarkNova, Jade looks good, with none of the problems usually associated with assassin characters. :goodjob:
