Warwick Homestead Minutemen quest broken.

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 11:31 pm

A usual "go kill this stuff" quest given by Roger Warwick will not start the quest dialogue. This character is involved in another questline that may or may not be a contributing factor.

Attempts to speak with Roger are met with the generic "Gimme all your crap, you settlement pleab!" Trade items dialogue.

The only way to make this quest do anything in its current state is to kill Mr Warwick, which would be as game breaking as the quest not working.

Anyone with any bright ideas or friends working for Bethesda who might care at all, please help.

I usually try not to double post, as most forum folk frown upon it, but is this not the official Bethesda/Fallout 4 forum? Why hasn't any one of the people who get paid to care about glitches or things to fix poked in on this in four days? Please at least pretend to care that my copy of your game isn't functioning as you intended it to when you made money off of me. Thank you.

So you reloaded a save to see if that fixed it?

Do you have a current quest with atom cats that might be conflicting?

Have you looked up the console code to advance the quest line?

Thank you for your reply.

Reloading saved games did not fix the issue.

No currently active Atom Cats quest active, assuming no second questline available.

Consol commands are unavailable for the xb1 unless I've missed something. This would almost certainly be the fix otherwise.

If it's practical try reloading your save and talking to the wife first. That might clear out a conflict and let his dialogue reset. Other than that go murder the super mutants and come back to him, you can usually do quests retrospectively as well. And I shall go find the name of the place in question.

Wilson Atomatoys - it's at 8 o'clock to the Warrick property and quite a walk. You want to pass to the left of the Quincy ruins and avoid them as they are full of gunners. They are part of another quest line.
