Can't help but feel as though that was not a wise decision on the gift-givers part...

Do you have iTunes on your computer? I'm sure you can make one on that. If you connect your device to your computer, it should link and I'm sure you'd be able to make an account from there, although it's been a little while.

I believe Siri is an app. Search the appstore for it. I don't know if it's a paid app or not. Then download it, I assume.

I think there are lots of devices that would like to know your location. I think some apps could use the information to help it run, such as minor differences for different regions. I'd allow it.

In fairness, Google is often a super useful and quick way to find what you're looking for, and there's nothing wrong with recommending it.

Siri was bought by Apple and integrated into iOS some time ago. They also purged the application from the store when they did that.

Posts removed, and posts edited.

Do not come into a thread just to say "Why don't you Google it?!"
If you have nothing to add that is helpful, you have no need to post.

People ask questions here to get feedback, sometimes Google doesn't offer the same interactivity.

And do not take it upon yourself to self-moderate the forums by telling someone what they can and cannot make a thread about. That will get you warnings. :stare:

There's either an icon or you get to it via the home button in some way. I don't know, I don't have an Apple device nor do I pay much attention to how to go about using all of their features.
