I was reading UESP...

And they said that racism will be back from Morrowind. This is the first time I've heard about this, is it confirmed? If so, any idea on how so? Since in Morrowind it was pretty much just racism against the player, and mainly coming from Dunmer. I hope to see racism from all races this time, if it's in the game.

Well you're in the land of the Nords, expect to be hated if you're an elf, actually, from what I've read the Nords have a problem with every one, but they hate elves the most.

Well I've read somewhere that the Nords will be more aggressive towards the Elves, but I'm almost positive its always been like that. Lower disposition and all that.

They hate Dunmer in particular because of the numerous wars over land.

If you thought racism in Morrowind was just against the player, you must've missed the whole slavery thing

Dunmer and Argonians will undoubtedly hate each other.

Maybe Altmer and Bosmer.

I was just reading the lore also and from Frontier, Conquest, and Accommodation: A Social History of Cyrodiil....

"When the Nord armies of the First Empire finally entered High Rock and Cyrodiil, they found Bretons and proto-Cyrodiils already living there among the Elves. Indeed, the Nords found it difficult to distinguish between Elf and Breton, the two races had already intermingled to such a degree."

I think the Nords aren't going to like my little Breton mage.

Maybe Altmer and Bosmer.

Nah, the Altmer and Bosmer are pretty tight. Every couple hundred years they team up to kick the rest of Tamriel's collected rear.

Leyawiin, the city is known for being bigoted against beastfolk and occasionally torturing Argonians.

Thanks to Countess Alessia Carro, mostly, she is highly prejudiced against the beastfolk.

Back from Morrowind? I know there was racism in Oblivion.

Yet again another blind Oblivion defense attempt against the wicked Morrowind. ;)

And there is, the racism you saw in Morrowind, Cyrodiil gets less of it, because it's kind of melting pot of the races, and where it is, Skyrim, you are getting back to, this is the province of the Nords, and even if the other races make appearances, they don't like elves, they are the original home of man, and they think, men vs our elves (the mer), men are, are the ones who should rule Tamriel, not, not elves, so there is this, conflict between that, so soon that does come into the play, some of that leads in the quests, and there is the theme for the quests, but a lot of it, depending on the race you pick, it's, it's flavor more than it is locking you off from one thing or another.

From the man himself.
