If it's PC footage, it's a no buy on the grounds it looks **** compared to crysis 1. So it's definitely console.

Just because there are no "beautiful" palm trees , no tons of vegetation and no ocean etc etc.... it instantly becomes worse looking than crysis 1 ?!

Try to make a city map for crysis 1, it will never ever look as good as that, not even if you're the best map designer in the universe.

You do realize you can still play Crysis 1 right?? so just head there for your visuals fix.

The only thing that really bugged me imo on that 3d video was the cracks in the ground when the tower thing came up. I hope they make that look better...(they probably already fixed that by now though)

How does it look worse?

The textures, effects and backgrounds had a very bland feel to them somehow, like they were lacking the detail and polish of the very small amount of PC footage we've seen.

It looks like a console version effectively.

What i dont understand is that we are all here because we love crysis/crysis 2.

We all understand that PC has a little edge on graphics... big **** deal. If you guys love crytek so much and have respect for them then why must you constantly **** on consoles?

If you have a good enough PC to handle the crysis series then so be it. Enjoy the little bit better graphics. But you are all crazy if you think the console versions look like ****. Crytek has poured their heart and soul into a game like this and it is still gona look AMAZING on consoles. NO need to trash talk about it or make assumptions.

If your a PC gamer and are jealous about this demo coming tomorrow for 360 just sit tight... its not a big deal. the demo is only going to be up a little more than a week.

I joined this forum to talk to more educated people about the game and all ppl are doing is biching back and forth about how PC is SOOOOOO much better. Its just silly

EDIT: seeing the gameplay on ign it was a bit better it's very good looking for the console. It's not a patch on crysis, as expected, but i can't wait for the PC version of crysis 2 ^^

The debate as to wether or not the PC is a little bit better than consoles is over - we know the PC is a **** ton more powerful than the consoles. All that remains to be seen is how compromised the PC version is!

Indeed, average PC's have around 6-8 times more power kicking around than a console at minimum.

Definitely not Psycho. Looks and sounds like Prophet but until release we can't be sure.
