Actually, i'm from the future. 12.17.13 to be exact, I already played FO4, it seems you didn't do a good job making sure the game wasn't an abomination. I feel the game was a bit rushed, but hey at least they are supporting it with 3 patches already 'cause in day 1 the DRM caused some problems due to the day 1 20$ DLC and patch didn't download properly and the multiplayer lags a little bit. I'm just building my house and getting ready to be married again since I got tired the first wife (Nydia) and the second got kidnapped by raiders while I was getting scrap metal in Riften City to build my house near the Megarun settlement.

Sadly not true  in NV.

And looking at how the thread develops I wonder how the participants survived FO2 without any sense of humor. This door is a tiny troll, because you can go around it easily.

Where then?

Look closely, that SHOULD be Fallout 3. How do I know? Weapon condition in FO:NV has tiny black arrows on the bar that indicate the point of optimal performance, FO3 weapons don't. I don't see the arrows in that screenshot.

C4 never worked for blowing one of those open either, even if the military does use it to open stubborn doors.

It is. I just checked, the door is in lower offices of the Chryslus building. Here's a http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=142536353 (a bit dark, but you can see the same wall behind it).

Listen up. I take a lot of heat. Bullets flying by me every hour. I eat food that's clearly 200+ years old. I swim in radioactive water to navigate the Capital Wasteland. I get fried by fire ants when I get too close. I have to tip toe around mines and rigged shotguns.

How dare you insinuate I risk slicing open my wrist to unlock a door.

The gall.

Don't quote me wrong (my post has to be read in the context what I quoted. To help you out a bit  .). I know that it is FO3. What I was stating that not every hard locked door in NV leads to good loot. But also this is a subjective thing .

Fallout adventurers for safer working conditions! Unite!

Besides, who says the door isn't also locked from the inside? It seems like the sort of moronic thing people would do in this universe.
