was told by a elderscrolls online agent to leave feedback

Post » Tue Feb 25, 2014 2:34 pm

I played in the last beta weekend , and am looking forward to more game play , have already pre-ordered imp edition

my feedback which was very interesting to the support agent I spoke to was that id very much like to see a 3D option for elder scrolls online

I play skyrim legendary in 3D and only have to lower the shadows a bit , but anyone and everyone that HAS a 3D monitor and Graphics card that can run it , please put in a vote or /feedback for some 3D action , it honestly would keep me enthralled for hours on end , I also believe that it would be a very Valuable addition for ESO and Bethesda Softworks .

SO people lets here your votes , even if your just looking at getting 3D in the future , Please give them a reason to create the option other then just for me lol

IMO, 3D is a fad. Wife and bought a 3D Sony TV a couple of years ago when they were new.

These days, we never use the feature anymore.

Ive been playing several games using 3dvision.I think for it to work for this game though the first person view would need a FOV slider. The FOV is way too low by default.

Every 30 years since the 1950s, the entertainment industry tries 3D. It improves with each generation* but just isn't "there" yet, imo. I love the idea, hate the execution. Maybe in another 30 years it will be viable.

I've played 3D in multiple Games and actually like the feature, was hoping I could find others that enjoyed it also.

so far with reading these replies all I can do is Hope they put in a 3D feature for myself and others like me that can play in 3D comfortably.

$500.00 monitor $300.00 Graphics card , bumped up power supply and a new computer I run 3D pretty well on most games I've played.

would definitely like to hear from all sides = thumbs up and thumbs down for a 3D option so that Bethesda can make a decision on making the feature playable.

I know from my side it would be a thumbs up and see how well it works out.

so Elder scrolls online reps , if you read this post , pay attention to both sides please.

and thanks for your time on posting replies peeps :) it is always good to know others opinions.

if you do have more to say on the topic please add it on , I really would like to have a good outlook on the topic for Bethesda to look at and see if it is feasible for them to even try.

some players would not use it , I however would.

Only a very small percentage of players use 3D in WoW. I doubt that there would be a much larger percentage in ESO. If ZOS can do it without sidetracking too many resources from other yet-to-be-released-but-already-announced-or-anticipated features, they should consider doing it.

It already has (or will have) Support for Oculus Rift, which in my mind is way superior to 3d monitors, so I don't see how the 3d would be very successful.

I haven't tried my nvidia 3D in ESO yet. If it works then awesome, with ESO's minimal HUD it should play quite nicely.

I've kinda moved away from the nvidia stuff ever since I heard about the oculus rift, that's absolutely going to be my next 3D plaything.

I've played 3D in Swtor, elder scrolls skyrim < which I still play clocked over 700 hours on skyrim playing it in 3D the whole time , it really is beautiful to see , also played dragon age origins in 3D , aswell as Tera < also beautiful , Lord of the rings , H.A.W.K.S, FFXIV , and all these Games work Beatifuly in 3D , if they Can do it , I Am Sure Bethesda can do it. to say that they could not , while a representative told me that it is possible to have a 3D Option most likely put in after launch would be a understatement to the company.

either way it is important to have your opinion also so that Bethesda can make the final call on attempting it (without pulling resources as you say .

Don't get me wrong , I Love the game as it is , having played some of the beta , I would really like to try it out in 3D , if they make it an option for those that have 3D already set up , and don't have oculus rift yet , I believe they could pull in some buyers aswell as some happy gamers. I do apptrieciate you participating in the poll and thread tho :)

3D is not for some people I Understand that , as in " Giving headaches " but for those of us that would like to play in 3D they should make it an (Option) , not to where everyone had to run 3D to play the game but to where some of us could set it up to run in 3D

in all honesty I started this thread and poll so that I would have a chance at enjoying the game more-so in 3D then how I have been playing it in Beta , for those of you that want it cool , for those of you that don't want it , cool , but don't shoot it down for the rest of us , as it would only be an Option in the game settings that we could turn on and those that don't want it could turn off . Thanks

In terms of gaming I'd say it's less of a fad and more of a niche. It's been around in a relatively small way for over ten years now, which is a long time for gaming.

I do agree that for tv and movies it's a fad, heck it barely even reached that level for tv, I haven't seen a single tv station here even bother with any type of 3D programing.

This.

I use my NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 when games have good support for it (I also watch Blu-ray 3D movies it it). ESO would be great with it, but a FOV slider is also required.

Edit:

I'm going to get Oculus Rift's 1080p version when it's available.

i have no idea if i will get a 3d tv or a 3d capable video card anytime soon but i think thats a great idea for ppl who can use it, i dont see how anyone could be against it since its just another option in settings that you can either use or not
