Waste of Money

Post » Sat Feb 13, 2016 1:05 am

Hello,

So I love the game, but just come to find out you can lose everything. Even if you put 5 dollars into the game, if your entire crew dies, you have to start a new game. That means all those boxes you open with cash are gone! Most games like this when you pay to open a box or get a extra boost, you still get that item throughout the game and there is no way for you to lose everything.

So say you pay 10 bucks and your entire crew is dead next week, you are out 10 bucks. You have to start a new vault and buy all new boxes again. I think that is a little messed up.

What does everyone else think?

Maybe only use a few boxes at a time, but yeah if you paid for it and got a special card there should prob be a way to save it for multiple uses.

Well I thought it be like Zombies vs plants where you buy something its yours forever. Here if you lose your vault you lose it all. At that point why would anyone put money into it if you will lose it all.

That is what I was thinking. That if you get a rare nuke rocket launcher, you can keep it forever...but that is not the case.

That's a shame, I got lucky with the 3 free boxes you get when starting a vault. But maybe if you start a vault and wait till you get really good cards from the free boxes then feel safer to use paid boxes in that vault.

It would have been better if you paid for a 10-25% increase in production for 48-72 hours. Or even better, you get a crew that is better in skills and get to keep that person no matter if you start a new vault.

Dont invest the money in the free app then.

Quick question...if you buy some lunchboxes and dont open them, then start a new vault do you still have the lunch boxes you bought?

Have not tried your exact situation. However, I am going to assume not because I bought 5 boxes and the cards that game me unique Dwellers and Weapons didn't carry over to another save game. I am pretty sure they are for the save game they are associated with.

That never actually crossed my mind when I bought my boxes... But when I spent $9.99 my vault was doing decent, I just needed a little boost. Now my vault is doing great and this is one of my favorite mobile games. It would be a good idea to make paid lunchboxes available on each save in the next update.

I've not played this yet but if you got back the stuff you paid for at the start of a new game, then I suppose it would work out of all players involved. It's a free game and no one is expected to pay, but doing like this would probably cut Bethesda back a few $, but then again I'd personally rather have happy customers than disappointed ones. Disappointment has aways of reaching places and cause more lasting problems.

Yeah the vault you have will keep the items, but if you lose that vault, you lose everything including the money you spent. Means you have to start a new vault and pay again.

What do you mean by you lost your vault? I have had my vault be pretty messed up. I show some screen shots in my Guide. I was able to get it working and now it's about as productive as my initial Vault that I bought the cards for.

you can have random raiders come in and kill everyone or bugs come out of no where and kill everyone. Seen it on the post, one bug can kill your entire vault, and there is nothing you can do to get more people to rebuild. If you lose all the guys or all the girls, you can't make babes, so your vault just dies off.
