I had a wasteland explorer return, and I looked at his loot. He had a rare outfit called the "Sci Fi Fan" outfit. I read online it was a rare outfit and I was excited! Hit "Collect" and let them in.

Checked the inventory to equip it to a dweller...and the "Sci Fi fan"!outfit had vanished.


At first I thought... "Maybe it's a female only outfit?" Tried female followers...still gone. I jumped into my inventory. Lots of space for outfits. About 32/70...no Sci Fi Fan outfit. It wasn't even in my list of outfits. It was just gone.

Why did this rare outfit just vanish?

The explorer who found it isn't wearing it? Look for someone with Spock ears and a bowling shirt. It definitely isn't female only - I got a male dweller from a lunchbox who turned up wearing one.

Recent development...sent out some explorers again... One found another Sci Fi Fan outfit.

I set it up for recall. We'll see if the outfit sticks to my inventory when they get back to the vault.

Be careful not to click it before you Collect (to select it for sale)

It stayed this time. I wonder if it was just a glitch since it reappeared on one of my "fresh" explorers that I sent out. Would make sense since the outfit is supposed to be really rare, I guess.


Hopefully this won't happen again with rare outfits and weapons.

This happened to me as well the last few times. Had 2 gauss rifles and 1 sniper rifle simply disappear from my inventory as soon as I hit collect. Also I've had outfits do the same.
