All these good ideas are comming right along real quickly, it would allow a series of games focusing on Eurasia to be made and sold for the Eastern Continents.
As such, pulling ideals from several of the other Wastelands threads, Europe is very heavily controlled by Neo Germany. Why? With all of Europe looking like a fourteen year old post-pubascent teen pockmarked with acne, Ghouls have the deffinite advantage. Radiation heals them, radiation makes more of them, and they just keep comming. Nevertheless, You would get humans from Spain, France, Italy and so on that act on the far fringes of Europe, ringing Neo Germany which is currently attempting to push north into London.
At this time I think it'd be novel to be able to save game files and import into the next game... like you're a hero moving from London to Europe to Russia and the effects of your actions carry over like one massive game. I loved that when it was originally introduced in games like Darkmoon by TSR (yes I am old school) and reintroduced in Mass Effect. That feature is one of the reasons Mass Effect is so attractive. Borrow from that idea and you can have an interlocking game series that makes Wastelands feel more real, and time invested makes you fell more in touch with the world.
But back to Wastelands: Europe.
The feel of the game I believe would need to be a series of smaller ones, or at least a series of hopscotching around Europe. Start in France (preferably after either A: you and/or the Templars push your way through the underwater tunnel for trains, or B: you've joined the Neo Germans and have journeyed through yourself). and go counter-clockwise through the chat. France to Spain, Spain to Italy perhaps, and so on, in a nautalis strip that eventually gets you to berlin in either a fight to stave off the Neo-Germans or a fight to end rebellion against the new Ghoulish empire.
Throw in trench warfare, and we have WW3 - er - 4 at this point I guess...
Any ideas?
