"Watch the Skies, Traveller"

When I tell you guys I almost crapped myself, I'm not exaggerating. I was at Oberland Station for one of the Minutemen quests, when Nick wanted to talk and see how I was doing. We started talking about stuff, specifically when Diamond City met its first humanlike synth...everything's calm.

BAM

Just over Nick's right shoulder, there's a freaking nuclear explosion, about ten feet away. No warning, no nothing. I run like hell, because I don't know what the heck is going on. Turns out, I almost got hit by a vertibird. This was probably the worst jumpscare I've ever had in a videogame. GG Bethesda.

Anything like this happen to you guys?

I've had the opposite. Being beaten near to death by a horde of super mutants, only for a Vertiberd to show up, drop off paladins and then end up securing the area with Minigun fire.

Quite a feeling.

But I am really looking forward to a second playthrough where there's a bit of vertiberd down.
