Hmm well maybe its just me, but I don't intend to much swimming in Skyrim... mainly because its well, cold! Some variety in water critters would be a welcome addition though!

I mould like to find more non letal water life, and really scary predators. As an example of a creature you haven't mentioned, Weresharks.

Some epic water dragon that is weaker only to Alduin himself that guards the waters to the north and is as deadly as a living thing can get would be a lot more welcome than a "You can not go past this point" pop up.

I would like to see more life underwater, fish and the like, maybe some larger things. But other than that, I wouldn't personally like the Dev's to spend much time on it, since I spend most of my time on land, being a land mammal and all.

Ok morrowind had sea, it did it pretty well but my only problems were it wasn't deep enough and the only interesting creature you would ever find in there was a dreugh on crack.

in Skyrim, i'm not hoping for... but i really really REALLY REEEEEALLLYYYY!!!!! want lakes and the sea (which it inevitably should have) to be deeeep, i mean so deep you can't reach the bottom without using a water breathing spell. and the deeper you get the tougher creatures you will find, and i want a big variety of monsters in there, many types of fishes, maybe some minibosses kindof like in one of those arcade games, then at the bottom you'll just be facing something godlike. i would also want these creatures you find picturing that theres a set of creatures at 10% depth to surface, then different, more difficult set from 20% depth to 10% depth). anything at 30% depth or lower should be not leveled! setting some rather tough monsters at 30% more tough at 40% and once you get down to 50% something you need to be at least level 15 to face. any lower than that will just be harder and harder and the bottom monsters will be pretty much unbeatable until at level 40.

This is just a dream of mine, too bad it wont be reality.

Well, seeing as it has become tradition for Bethesda to put H.P. Lovecraft throwbacks into their games...

No water dragons.

But sea monsters. Huge, deadly and very rare. Lurking in the deepest depths of Skyrim.

As long as I can go in the water without being attacked every 2 minutes, I would be fine with that. I didn't like in oblivion when a bunch of slaughter fish attacked me. It would be nice if Bethesda layer it. If you were on top of the water, then the weaker fish would attack you, but it would be neat if certain kinds of fish and creatures attacked you depending on how deep you go. I think it would add to the immersion because in real life, there are certain kinds of fish and creatures living at certain depths. just a thought.

Remember if a human were to go deep enough down he would be killed by water pressure.

ok. but there are also spells and magical items that could help you with that. that would only add more immersion!

Yeah, being somewhat phobic of dark/deep waters, and of the creatures that live there, I do want more underwater creatures. Both normal fish, and hideous monsters that try to chew our faces off.

Yes, I want things that outright scare me in the game. So?

It really does need to give us more options for under water exploration considering how vast areas of water are in recent TES Games. I mean look at all the nice spells, abilities and items we get to use solely for seafaring, yet the only thing I can remember worth exploring the depths for in Oblivion was Fin Gleam.. Which wasn't all that great anyway. :shakehead:
Morrowind was a little better if I remember correctly but there are so many untapped possibilities that could make the sea a lot more sea worthy.
