Waterfalls

So Im newish to the construction set, but i've built houses and stuff before. but anyways I want to make a sorta cave/indoor home kinda thing (ya I know generic right lol)
but I want a waterfall maybe coming from a hole in the ceiling or something and going down into a pool of water?

what do i need to know?
like is there a object that IS a waterfall? I haven't really looked around, just looking for what I need to know about waterfalls in TES to get started.

Yes, waterfalls are objects, they can be found in WorldObjects > Activator > Landscape.

I placed the water fall in my mod, you can see it in the render window in the CS but in the game it is not showing up? Whats the deal?

It is marked as persistent.

What else do I need to do?

I've read that waterfalls may become pretty much invisible depending on the lighting.
Try temporarily adding a lot of light and see if it shows up.

Waterfalls are made for exterior locations so they do not show up well inside with it being so dark.

YES, that was the issue! THANK YOU!

Wow this is not good because I wanted the cave to be pitch black. But I semi solved this by making the cell's "light color" BLACK (well a very dark gray anyway)!

Then I can illuminate it the way I want to with my own placed lights.
