sorry I'm not sure where im supposed to post this.

i was on the quest Waters of Life and i just booted the mainframe. Dad talked to me on the intercom and told me that I had to clear pipes or something for the next part of the quest, but i had to do something so i saved and quit the game. When i came back the quest still told me to boot up the mainframe but it already had the green light on it. So now i can't clear the pipes or finish boot up the mainframe. I don't have an older save and i kinda walked around trying to do something so the autosave is after the quest got glitched. i tried resetquest and it makes Dad's chat blank. Anyone know how to fix this?

Did you go through the sewer part? from the main entrance to get into the Memorial from the outside, instead of going into the room where the terminal and turret is, go straight down the hallway. theres another room, and a sewer entrance. You are supposed to go through there and clear the pipes.

I would say try this, I literally just went through this exact problem.

Also, what system are you on? Console or PC?

that's the part that i can't get to because i my quest is to boot up the mainframe that is already booted up. when i try to clear the pipe, it says "You cannot use this now." im on pc

Try talking to dad again, because I'm pretty sure he has to acknowledge the mainframe is one before he tells you to clear out the pipe.

Since you stopped the game mid-way in the pipe, the save file probably stopped at the last known quest flag, which would be you activating the mainframe, but not talking to dad (which starts the next phase).
