Dogmeat is so weak hes gonna die one of these days even a weak raider could kill him . He doesnt do much damage with his teeth and he cant resist much either how do i make him tougher?

You need to level up. Once you hit 20 or 30, he'll be strong enough to hold his own against Fawkes (THE strognest companion you can get if the "what does it take to kill Fawkes?" threads give any indication.) If you have Broken Steel, you may also think over about getting the Puppies! perk, which will create a new Dogmeat in case the first one dies...

What I do is just keep at home since I RP. I come home every nightfall and take him mole rat hunting around Megaton. I try to keep him away from a lot of trouble. Don't want the poor thing too badly hurt.

I really love Dogmeat ;P I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I let him die. In our home, he sleeps in the nook by the kitchen with his dog bowl and giant teddy bear he sleeps next against.
