Dear Forum,

I haven't got the game yet to test this out: I was wondering whether it is possible to block with (only) a one-handed weapon equipped.

Yes it is so long as your other hand is free.

Is it worth going 1h only instead of a 1h plus a shield?

Why would you go one handed with nothing in the other? Shield for better block, dual for better damage. No point otherwise!

It's not worth it, but you could probably get away with it.
