Weapon of Choice ? : V

I feel the more their are .... the more times I will play the game .. ea time I will master diffrent weapons .. really adds to the replay abilty.

Your thoughts ?

This is kind of biased because I use Sword(Long Swords)and there is no option for that here so I am forced to choose all but I would use long swords

Edit: I did not read the question well I was basing the poll off of the title

Just asking about what should be back in TES V ... alll the choices were removed from Oblvion, however they were in Dagger Fall and/or Morrowind. ... Long sword has never left.

Well, I'd like a tanto and/or a wakizashi for my assassin. Not that I have a particular foible for akaviri weaponry, but that's what I worked with in Morrowind - excellent weapons, and the DB attacks made them available early. ^_^ Good times.

As for materials, all of them. :nod:

Spears were great, especially for stealthy characters. Getting that extra few feet of reach for a sneak attack was that much better of a chance of going undetected. Awesomeness. Crossbows were also the shiz.

Crossbows definatly. Would like to see a smaller, weaker one handed crossbow.

Would be great for an assassin character, crossbow in one hand, dagger/tanto in the other..........

Or even crossbow and sheild.

Or crossbow and lightning spell.

I think they should put in any/all weapons that they can possibly think of. An RPG is supposed to be about options, and any time an RPG cuts options in favor of "efficiency" or "usefulness" or whatever it becomes less of an RPG and therefore bad.

I like options, but bonemold and chitin were Morrowind specific, as in the region.
Maybe if it was relatively uncommon, like nordic troll bone in Morrowind.
Otherwise the more the better.

Adamantium would fit in very nice.
Chitin and Bonemold were more specific to the Morrowind, because they made them from the insects/creatures that lived there... but it would still be nice to see some Dunmer wearing it (the ones who have left Morrowind)

But I gotta say... you forgot to mention the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Bloodmoon:Base_Armor. Which are most likely to make a return to TES.

I voted for everything because I could, but if I had to pick one it'd be spears. Also, I'm glad you mentioned Adamantium, I had completely forgotten about that. It would be cool to see that make a comeback of some kind.

i miss running around in adamantium armor while jabbing people with the spear of bitter mercy, occasionally shooting some spells here and there...
