Weapon Crafting

With the new crafting system in Skyrim looking like it could be very promising, do you think we should need some kind of schematics or specialist training to learn how to create certain items (normal weapons/armor with smithing, magical weapons/armor with enchanting, and potions/poisons with alchemy?) This could be for all crafted items, or perhaps only for the most advanced items/combinations.

I think that we should have to be taught how to make certain items like swords and such, or maybe even find moulds - or, as in shivering isles, find Matrixes. Or even buy matrixes from the smithy himself for about the same price as one of the weapons.

What I really look forward to is seeing if I can make a bow and arrows. Because that opens a completely new perspective on what materials you can use for them. I mean I never understood an iron bow, in all seriousness - iron is not flexible nor elastic. If anyone dare give me an iron bow again I'm gonna snap it.. or whatever. melt it.

Why? What's wrong with an iron bow? Or glass bow for that matter? It's not like the whole bow is made from that material. Or am I viewing http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:OB-items-Bows.jpg image wrong?

Edit: Forgot to answer OP :P

I think maybe some things should, if not require, then at least be made available, by means of "designs"/"enchants"/"recipes" you find. I.e. for smithing, you could find a certain cool looking design for a sword, which you can create from material of choice, but you couldn't come up with it before you found it. Similar for alchemy, mixing even the right ingredients may fizzle until you get the instructions telling you how to mix them correctly. I'm a bit lost for enchanting. Maybe you find prebound souls giving additional power maybe?

I think it is related to the perks like armor: You have the dragon-smithing perk you can make both armor and weapons, or so I understood it. Hope we can use more than a pre-set design(like in all ebony maces looking the same) and have more options.
